Summary
Had Eric talked to Assad like a dog and told him to calm down? Yeah, sure. Had he almost put his hand in Assad’s lap? Well, okay. Yes. But he’d caught himself! He’d made the man hold his hand instead, which was probably going viral amongst the small subset of obsessed online weirdos anyway.
At least he wasn’t the one who had (jokingly?) admitted to their affair in front of a hundred cameras in Hall H. At least he hadn’t actively looked for Assad’s approval after he made that joke. No. Assad had done that. To him. That was not on Eric.
OR
SDCC goes down the way it did because Eric and Assad are in love and want to shout it from the rooftops (but also haven't told each other).
This is technically a sequel to "Mutual Understanding," but it can be read as a standalone.
Series
- Part 4 of And They Were Coworkers
