Chapter Text

I'm in a dark room, surrounded by candles.

There is blood splattered all over the walls, a bright crimson colour.

The blood is glistening, as if it's fresh.

My hands and legs are tied with rope, and I'm sitting in a chair.

"Dean! Sloane? Lia? Micheal? Anyone?" I yell, looking around.

As I'm trying to untie myself frantically, I hear footsteps, along with slow clapping.

I squint, trying to see who it is.

Agent Lacey Locke.

"Cassie, what a pleasure it is to see you again!" She says, plastering on a fake smile.

"What do you want from me?" I say, anxious.

"Well, slow down a bit, Cassie! Let's chat for a bit, no?"

"No! Just let me go. Whatever you want from me, I'm not interested."

"I just wanted to congratulate you! You know, for doing what I couldn't do." She says, the jealousy burning in her eyes.

"This is about my mother, isn't it?" It's been haunting me since day one.

She laughs.

"You know what, Cass? I've had a great idea. Since I couldn't kill her, I'll just kill her daughter." She smirks, pulling out a sharp knife from her back pocket.

I feel like a poor little girl in the theatre again, just playing her game. But not this time.

"Get away from me!" I yell, freeing myself.

Hands grab my shoulders.

I thrash harder.

"Cassie! It's just me. What's wrong?" Dean yells.

"It's just a dream, Cassie, you're okay."

Just Dean.

Not Locke.

My bedroom.

Oh.
