“Vincent? Vincent, where are you?” Jodi called from the inside of the house. Vincent remained put at the door, refusing to walk in.
“Vincent?”, Rue called his name walking up to him. “Why aren’t you going inside? It’s getting late” Despite it only being 4PM, considering the cold winter, it’s best he went inside.
”Hello Auntie Rue”, he said lacking his usual enthusiasm. “….I just don’t want to”
”Vincent?” Jodi called again.
She kneeled down next to him. “Is something…wrong?”
He shook his head.
“Are you in trouble?”
He shook his head again.
“Then what’s wrong?” She asked, all out of ideas.
”It's-”, he started before being cut off by Jodi.
”Vincent come inside!”
”It’s-”
”Vincent!”
”It’s-”
”I made your favourite, lentil soup!” Jodi exclaimed.
Rue sighed with a chuckle before knocking on the door and casually walking away.
”Good evening Vincent”, She said, walking off into the sunset.
