Clumsy or not, Mafuyu melts into it. His knees weaken with every new connection of their lips, and for a moment, he considers cancelling all their plans.
The thought disappears as quickly as it came, because now, they’ve pulled away, catching their breath and staring with matching lidded eyes. Mafuyu’s missed not having to share these blue eyes with anything or anyone else.
“Hi,” Mafuyu says, eyes closed and cheeks round from a tight smile. “Happy birthday.” Mafuyu gives him one last peck on the lips before letting go.
