   Summary

   MacKenzie Abbot survived PittFest.

   Survival isn't the hard part. It's the recovery, the rebuilding, the rehabilitation that changes everything. The pain is expected. Bills never end. But unexpectedly falling in love with the man who saved her life was never part of Mac's treatment plan.

   After April's death, Jack pushed his baby sister away. When she nearly died and he promised to never let her slip away again. And maybe, in time, he could build a life April wanted for him.

   Robby never had a sister or any sibling until Mac decided he was one of her people. When it came to Mac, Robby always stepped up when Jack couldn't.

   Brendon Park didn't think that there could be something between him and MacKenzie. He was her doctor, the man to mend her broken bones and shock her heart back to life. It wasn't right to allow feelings of that nature to develop. But who was he to argue when the pieces of a life he dreamed about started to fall into place?
