Summary
It's common knowledge that werewolf shifters mate for life, and that a male’s bite on a female creates an unbreakable bond. They are extremely pack-oriented creatures. But beyond the blurred pictures or rare footages circling on the internet, as an ongoing global war has pushed human armies to experiment with shifter soldiers for their superior strength, senses, healing, and endurance, the Wardog Program was created. Its main weapon is a serum that makes selected humans smell like a werewolf’s mate, turning this handler officer into both a leash and a living hostage.
Captured werewolves are broken, drugged, collared, and forced into combat. Most of the time, this corrupted bond doesn't work. But the handlers are low-ranking soldiers, not important enough to be missed when the creatures lose control.
