Summary
Sometimes Andrew thinks that Julia sopped up all the goodness from him before they were born. Like those babies that eat their twin in the womb, but instead she took all the parts of him that were supposed to be normal and left him like this.

There's a long silence between them. "That just…isn't true," she says eventually, sniffling, and Andrew realizes she's crying, he's made her cry. He stiffens and sits up and his feet are in the pool then, water leaking in through the laces. Julia wipes her arm over her face. "Whatever Smurf told you—"
"She didn't tell me," he says. "I just know."
