Kuroo opened the door to Kenma's brand new streaming room, just enough to peek in without disturbing the younger man while he worked. Well, it was almost brand new, it had already been 2 months or so since Kenma began that endeavor and Kuroo couldn't be happier for him.
In a few weeks Kenma already had accumulated so many viewers and they seemed to really like him. Kuroo would watch the streams whenever he could and there was no lack of positive comments telling Kenma how cool or cute he was, how good at strategies he was, how much he knew about a certain game or topic and many more compliments.
Yup, everything was going well…
Kozuken looks adorable today, can I kiss you?
A donation along with a comment popped up. Kuroo saw it clear as day, he had Kenma's stream opened in his phone. Another viewer trying his chances with Kenma.
Okay, maybe not everything was going well, at least not for Kuroo.
He huffed and closed the door.
Everybody should pipe it down because Kodzuken was with him, okay?
Kuroo sat down on the living room couch, waiting for Kenma to be done. He'd let the stream run in the meantime, as he dwelled in his own self pity.
Kuroo knew it was silly, he shouldn't be jealous of a bunch of randos on the internet saying nice things about his boyfriend or even trying to blatantly flirt with him, but he just couldn't help it, feeling possessive.
Kuroo sighed and slumped down on the couch, defeated.
Another day…
“Kenmaaa, let's just stay here, let's watch something please~”, Kuroo pouted while hugging Kenma from the back.
“You know I can't right now, I have a stream scheduled in 20 minutes”, Kenma tried to free himself from his boyfriend's arms.
“But…Kenmaaa”, Kuroo whined, hiding his face in the crook of Kenma's neck.
Oh, Kuroo was actually sulking, not just being dramatic…strange.
“You're acting weird”, Kenma squirmed a bit and turned around inside Kuroo's hug. Once he was facing Kuroo, he cupped his cheek with one hand, making the older man look up at him.
“Am not", Kuroo pouted and averted his gaze.
“You are, is something wrong?”, Kenma sounded concerned and it made Kuroo finally relinquish and meet his eyes.
Those eyes just made him crumble.
“I just…ugh…is it that wrong of me to not want to share you with anyone else right now?”, Kuroo hid immediately, using the crook of Kenma's neck once again. He just felt so embarrassed…
Kenma's brain didn't have to work too hard to understand what Kuroo meant.
“Wait…you're jealous of…chat?”, it sounded quite silly when Kenma said it.
“I…guess I am", Kuroo admitted quietly.
Kenma smiled to himself, ah, Kuroo acting so childish…how many years had it been since he saw him like that.
“You know, they may know Kodzuken, but they don't know Kenma", Kuroo's eyes widened, he backed up and stared at Kenma in awe.
His boyfriend really knew him the best. Just a few words from Kenma and Kuroo felt all his worries dissolved.
Kuroo's eyes softened and he smiled, “Yeah, I guess they don't”, he kissed Kenma tenderly.
“Mmm, you know…I think it's time to show everyone", Kenma stole another kiss from Kuroo.
What could his boyfriend be referring to?
Well, Kuroo didn't have to wait too long to see what Kenma meant because, as he usually did, he watched Kenma's stream that day where his boyfriend made a big announcement.
The very next day, his face was plastered all over various news articles.
World famous Kodzuken had made it official!
Indeed, Kodzuken surprised his viewers on yesterday's stream by telling them that he had a boyfriend and not only that, but he added that he had been living with him for quite some time too. Besides that, Kodzuken also posted a series of photos on social media with his boyfriend, one who he called ‘Kuro'.
Kodzuken was happily taken.
Kuroo read all the articles he could find about it on his way to work. He felt all warm and fuzzy inside.
That was him, Kodzuken's lover, other half, boyfriend, any other word you could use to name their relationship.
They were together and nothing could ever separate them. Even if the comments about how Kenma was so cute or cool didn't stop, Kuroo just gladly agreed with them now.
Yes, Kenma was all of that and so much more, but that was something only Kuroo got to know and Kenma allowed only him to see.
