“Apa, Apa, Apa, Apapapapapa,” Nicky babbled, still yanking on the fabric of her pants and making little adorable yip noises, a pup calling for their parent.
The Alpha kept one arm wrapped around her mate, but leaned to the side so she could peer down at her son. “Yeah, baby?” she chuckled, poking him on the forehead.
Nicky crossed his eyes, trying to look at her finger, giggling. “‘M hungry. Apa give pork buns pwease?” He pointed at the bag of Chinese food on the counter.
They were attempting to teach him patience, given that Nicky had two doting Alphas for parents who happily gave him whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted. They didn’t want him to be spoiled, after all. “In a minute, Mama and I are just having a discussion right now about her and the baby, and Mama needs a hug.”
