Summary
After Doctor Strange's spell, Peter Parker swore that love would never again be part of his life.
Being Spider-Man was already an impossible responsibility to balance with a degree in Nanotechnology Engineering at ESU. Falling in love would only add another variable to an equation he was barely managing to keep under control.
His plan was simple: study, protect New York, and keep his heart out of the equation.
Then Nova came along.
Brilliant, disciplined, and hopelessly in love with biology, Nova can't stand her new lab partner: Peter Parker. A guy who disappears from class without explanation, turns in assignments at the last minute, and seems to take university far less seriously than she does.
What Nova doesn't know is that Peter is hiding a double life he'll never be able to tell her about.
And what Peter has yet to realize is that she's about to turn upside down the one promise he made to himself: Never fall in love again.
