Summary
Qifrey awakes to the feeling of roots writhing under his skin. He expected this. He knew it was coming.
He thinks back to last night; drinks with Olly on the sofa, smiling and laughing, and, for once, allowing himself to indulge in the moment, to forget. Forget his condition.
He had made up his mind, was resolute. He would not erase his memory anymore, he couldn’t take it anymore. That kind, generous and warm man that sat before him, his best friend. The kindest man he ever had the pleasure of meeting, who stayed beside him despite everything he put him through. Qifrey had burdened him enough, had caused him too much suffering. He would do it no longer.
or: Qifrey refuses to take Olly's memories anymore and gives in to the silverwood. The rest of the atelier wont let him go that easy.
