Summary
The HPSC had invested their time and money for scientists to invent Quirk Enhancers that are supposed to "strengthen" the heroes in their fights against villains.
However, when they finally tested it on a living, breathing person, the Quirk Enhancement ate the subject's brain and body from inside out, leaving an empty shell of the person-- but now much more bloodier, stronger and hungry-- hungry for more strenght, more quirks.
A Zombie-like being was made on that day, and The HPSC kept it a secret, until the.. creature, was strong enough to escape, and attacked the next people it saw-- sucking out their quirks and infecting them by breathing a highly contagious gas into their mouths.
And just like that, a zombie apocalypse broke out. The heroes were convinced they could win-- but soon enough, the highly contagious breath of the zombies overtook the oxygen in the air, making them all quirkless as soon as they breathed.
