Blood in The Snow Isn’t a Very Pretty Thing (It Really Is)

Summary:

During the events of Ultron, when Iron Man (aka Tony Stark) saves little four year old Peter Parker, he didn’t check to see if anyone else was around. He didn’t make sure Peter got to back to his family. Instead, he sped off into the dark sky, to destroy Ultron.

He didn’t know Peter’s name then. He thinks about that little kid from time to time, wonders if he’s okay. Little did he know that while the kid is still alive, he’s not exactly doing okay. He’s not exactly living the life of luxury.

He is in a cell, somewhere in the cold, North, with people speaking a language that he will soon identify with “Home”. Because that is his home. Or at least, his new home.

Chapter 1: Epilogue

Chapter Text

Peter had always been an anxious child.

He never quite fit in, and he was much smarter than what anyone had seen from the other students in his first grade class. The four year old, though despite being deathly afraid of anything that moved, raised his palm up to the giant robot, instead of running. The Stark Expo was supposed to be fun, exciting, and something that Peter could actually look forward to. Something to distract him from his fear of the world.

Though it seemed, it gave him a little too much confidence. The sound of repulsers blasting through the air, landing next to him before he had time to react. Iron Man blasted the robot before it could shoot Peter. “Nice work kid.” Iron Man said, as Peter looked up at him in awe behind his own, smaller, less advanced Iron Man mask. Before he could say anything, Iron Man took off to the sky once more, leaving the four year old alone on the ground, rubble scattered all around him.

If Tony Stark had known what could have happened, if he hadn’t immediately left the child, he would’ve stayed. He would have fought off the dark men before they could take Peter away. But he didn’t.

Peter screamed for him, called for his parents, his mom, his dad, for Iron Man to come save him from the mean, dark people, who were currently carrying him away to their van. If anyone that day, had known that a child was going to be taken away, to be poked and prodded, to be starved and beaten, maybe they would’ve done something. But nobody knew, and nobody heard his cries, and Peter looked through teary eyes, watching through the dark skies, watching as Iron Man, the one who could’ve done something, who could’ve stayed a minute longer, flew away from the scene, and away from the child, who in the next day or so, would be pronounced dead, but without a body to be lain in the ground.

He was quickly shoved into the vehicle, despite the fact that there was no one around to see what was happening. Peter got one last glance outside, before he felt a prick in his neck, and everything went dark.
