    An idea surfaced in his head then; an awful, characteristically dubious plan. The kind that was driven by impulse, like most of his plans, but even moreso now. The kind that gripped all sense of logic and morality by its throat with both hands, nails digging in, and held on tight until it stopped thrashing. He glanced behind him. No sign of Jay yet, it’d only been a minute.
    To Matt’s understanding, in his hands he held a magical burger that upon being consumed could grant him any wish he could think of. Anything at all. He could have wished for a billion dollars. He could have wished for a hundred new hats to wear. He could have even wished for a show at the Rivoli, right then and there, and gotten it.
    But he didn’t.
    “I wish Jay McCarol was so in love with me that he’ll never wanna leave me again!!!”
