For Prompt One on the HKM, an Anon Prompt
The Prompt was:
"Set after Thorin accepts Bilbo the Dwarves share stories about their lovers. Ranging from sweet tales to heartache. The Dwarves encourage Bilbo to share and ask why he hasn't settled down. Bilbos' story starts off sweet and funny but turns sad as he explains how he got his heart broken. Could be because he was seen as strange or maybe because he thinks all the women in the Shire only want his money. Thorin certainly has something to say about the matter."So I only really used half this prompt because I can't write Thorin to save my life. I tried to make it funny to make up for the lack of good Bilbo/Thorin.
Also, fair warning, this is unbetaed.
