Doresain invites Sylvester for supper at the Ossuary Palace.
Doresain chuckles, the sound warm and intimate. “My dear Keeper, this is merely the aperitif. The main course has yet to begin.”
Mist drifts serenely over the elaborate tableware, gently sending it away and leaving pristine tablecloth behind. Arms draped in finery encircle Sylvester, deceptively strong, and place him, carefully, reverently, on the table.
“As the host of this fine evening, I declare… let the feast commence.”
