Summary:

After William Kali, a 21 year old computing genius, becomes the first sucessful person to create a self-aware program in 2005, He is tracked down by the wrong sort of people. Urbanshade, a multimillion-pound international corporation aiming to exploit both it's customers and the very cycle of life and death, eventually finds him and attempts to interrogate him. However, he ends up shot dead in the process.
Twenty years later, Urbanshade looks towards a cryogenically preserved deceased William Kali as a test subject for digital replication technology, and he wakes up many years later in a body entirely not his own.

Some hints before we start:

I chose to use English currency (Pounds) for monetary units within this book. Urbanshade is cannonically Norwegian, However I prefer the English currency as I am primarily English, and I do not know the exact conversion.
Take a lot of this with a grain of salt. I try to be accurate as much as I can, however this book is not a guide of any sort. It's just plain fiction, with a spice of nerdyness. Especially with 2005 technology, I wasn't around during that time, So you might find inconsistencies or errors. I would urge you to not harrass me over trying to understand the history of computing a lot more. My information priarily comes from Alexa and chatgpt, so no promises on accuracy.
William Kali is sort of an Oc interpretation of Painter's creator from the lore of pressure. Again, inconsistencies may be introduced- Especially one I'm already aware of, that being William's name does not match up to the character length of Painter's creator's name, With William having seven characters in it and the lore accurate version having six.
While the contributions from Casualties Unkown are minor, that being the existence of Expies and the occurence of several items, I will not be including the grey planet, specifically because I see it as not the theme I want to have this story in.

Please note that chapter development will be weird. I may hide the work by reallocating it so the hidden Skunkworks collection(Not sure if I can do that tbh) until I'm happy with it.
