As Vox looked closer at Valentino he realized his smile had gotten smaller and he eyebrows were still pinched even though the pleasure was over and he seemed sad. Not in the overt way, which was why Vox's muddled mind hadn't seen it sooner but almost quiet, hollow.
Vox tilted his, head, matching Valentino's pinched brows in confusion and concern.
There was a pause and then Valentino spoke up so softly Vox barely heard him.
"Why can't you always be like this, amorcito?" His tone was bittersweet and Vox didn't understand.
