Chapter 1
Luke's cooking.
(Din POV)
I usually make dinner but today Luke wanted to so I took him to the market and bought all the vegetables and everything for a nice healthy stew. Easy enough to make right? I have never been more wrong. Luke insists he doesn’t need any help in the kitchen so I put Grogu to sleep and take a well deserved nap.
(Luke’s POV)
I convinced Din that I could make dinner today but I have no idea what I’m doing and I’m sure he knows it. I start to cut the vegetables. It's not like I have a cook book to check how to make this. I should pre-heat the stockpot right? I turn it on to heat it up. I keep cutting vegetables, then I remember I can just check my data pad for recipes. I sit down with my datapad and look at recipes.
(Din’s POV)
I wake up to the smell of smoke. Oh no. I walk into the kitchen and see Luke trying to stop a fire! I grab the fire extinguisher and put out the fire. “Luke, I thought you had it!” I look at the burnt vegetables and broken stockpot. “I thought I did!” He yelled back, tossing the data pad onto a nearby chair. All the yelling woke up Grogu and he waddled in not liking the smell of the smoke and holding the silver shift knob. “Damn it we woke up the kid.” I pick him up and say, “Let's just go out for dinner.” Luke pats Grogu’s head and agrees.
