    Rowan Potter has always, is and always will be alone. Alone against the world because those that were supposed to be there for her, could not be bothered with a girl that is nothing like the Lily and James they knew. That is what Rowan had deduced by the summer before her fifth year. She was alone and that was a fact of life.

    It was also a fact of life that she never should have gone to Hogwarts in the first place. The pain simply was not worth it.
