There was no doubt in his mind that Sam loved him too, and unlike Dean, he had no reservations about the depth and nature of his love. Sam's love for Dean was a terrifying thing, ravenous and obsessive, nothing tender, shy, or shameful about it. Dean loved Sam and it was a heavy thing. Sam loved Dean and the weight of it dragged them both down, but Sam had only ever known the dark abyss that they sank to.
