   Summary

   Out of all the things Hawks had expected to find while searching around inside Dabi’s mind this was by far the last.

   The intent to burn him alive was expected and warranted. Hawks was digging around in the villain’s thoughts, feelings, and memories, plucking them straight from the source to examine with an increasing amount of flushed speed.

   There had to be something else in here, right? More about the League, names, other hideouts he hadn’t found yet, places AFO could hide, other quirks, bigger plans, other raw needs, other desires, other messy details, other other other other—

   A hard bite to the Hero’s pinky made him yelp, quickly throwing the opposite fist to smash Dabi’s nose, effectively knocking the villain’s head back, cheek squeaking loudly on polished floors.
