    It's been sixteen years since the fall of the Republic.

    The Jedi have been erased. The Rebellion survives.

    Daniel Molloy never meant to be part of either. He's eighteen when one of the last remaining Jedi tells him he has an incredibly powerful gift. Daniel doesn't want to be a hero. But he doesn't want to live his life cowering under the shade of the Empire either.

    So he agrees to let former Jedi Master Marius de Romanus train him in the ways of the Jedi. He lets a beautiful senator convince him to be a part of the fledgling rebellion.

    They say he could be a new hope for the galaxy.

    They don't tell him about the Sith that stalks in their shadow. They don't know that very Sith has fixed his interest upon an old Master's new padawan.

    Daniel isn't prepared for this.
