Summary
Shane's new career in the NHL was going surprisingly well, with just one little problem. He had started to hear voices. Actually, it was just one voice in particular. Every so often, he swears he can hear a man speak clearly to him in a heavy Russian accent. Everywhere he turns, though, the source of the voice cannot be found. It feels like there was something missing in his life, and he didn't know how to find it.
Across the world in Russia, Ilya Rozanov has spent the last 3 years of his life dreaming of freckles and brown eyes. He couldn't put a name to the face. Couldn't even see any more details besides the eyes and the freckles. Discovering who those freckles belong to is the one thing that is keeping Ilya alive at the moment.
