Summary
It's been months since the Seven-Bodies case was solved. Singha and Thup have lead relatively normal lives catching killers and putting their victims' spirits to rest. But when they're called to a scene involving a high-profile victim stuffed in an air vent and killed by having the air literally sucked out of their lungs, they know this one won't be as easy as it seems.
The investigation takes a terrifying turn when the team discovers the killer uses a Luk Krok—the powerful, tragic ghost of a stillborn child bound by necromancy—to execute a brutal vendetta. Unlike ordinary spirits, this entity operates on absolute, blind obedience to its master, bypassing standard spiritual defenses. As the body count rises, the team must race against time to uncover the killer's true identity, locate the physical vessel of the Luk Krok, and find a way to sever the binding ritual before the entity claims its final target.
