Summary
Paradis was no longer a home, but a battlefield. Perhaps it was never a home, only a facade of sanctuary for those seeking salvation from the war-torn ways of life across the sea.
In the eyes of Death, there was no difference between those who wanted peace and those who wanted vengeance. Those who fought and those who didn’t. Blood all looked the same once it was shed. War cares naught for who falls, so long as they suffer.
The sacrificial lamb and the executioner. The martyr and the prophet. The Angel of Death and the Devil of Paradis. In this world, sinners are not allowed the luxury of hell. Murderers cannot outrun their treachery.
May the three sisters take mercy upon their souls.
