Its been few months since Secret Agent started working in Animal Hospital.. well, not exactly "working". He was secretly collecting information about Animal Corporation for the people he worked for. So did Rattew and Rattew's sister, who unfortunately got caught and havent been seen ever since.
Her dissapearance scared Secret Agent. He made sure to be as professional as possible. He specefecly choosed a role - "Security" so nobody could question about the gun he always held grip on.
On the first day people would fear him, but he would say "Its just a faster way to get rid of anomalies". Eventually staff got used to it. They did had to add "If you hear gunshots don't panic, we are getting rid of anomalies for your own safety" as a rule tho.
Everybody liked him. The black cat was both charming and respected everyone. He was elegent, had maners and cared about others (not sure about the last part bu' yk).

It was calm evening, about 18:15. (I use digital time cuz its easier fuck off). Agent successfully got rid of few anomalies, which he again got praised for. He couldnt lie - he liked the attention.
He was walking down the hall when he noticed intern. I mean, intern didnt really do anything tbh. They were just there to replace anyone who was busy or couldnt work that day. They semeed nervous. Agent surely noticed that.
"Y' good?" Agent asked. His ears perked up and walked to intern.
Intern nodded. He knew they werent 'ok'. At least thats what their expression told.
"No you aren- Holly shit-!"
Agent stepped back in shock. Interns mouth was open and fuck, they had some sharp ass teeth with long tongue hanging. What the fuck?
At the same time, Head Nurse left one of the rooms and walked behind them. Agent instictevly pulled out the gun with right hand, backing up Head Nurse with left one.
"Step back!" He shouted. "Dont you fucking dare and come near!"
Intern only stepped closer. They couldnt talk, so they tryed saying something with sign language. Unfortunately Agent had no idea what they wanted.
"I said fucking STEP BACK Goddamnit!" He shouted again, gripping the gun even harder.
Suddenly the Head Nurse grabbed him from behind, turned him around and everything went black.

Agent woke up in a room 4. His vision was blurry, neither the voices were clear, but he could recognise Nurse, Intern, Head Nurse and..
Dr. Harlow...?
Agent quickly sat up on the bad. He looked around in shock and confusion. What the hell happened to him? Why was Dr. Harlow here? What the fuck was going on?
"Please don't sit up this fast, dear. You just woke up" the Nurse said with worry and care. Agent had to admit, she seemed like she was the only person who was actually kind.
"Not to mention that-" the Head Nurse started, but got cut off by Harlow. He didnt even had to say anything. He simply rised his hand and it already meant that they had to shut up.
"So, from what I had heard, you were trying to falsely accuse Intern for apperantly being 'annomaly' and tryed shooting him. You do realise that its an attempted murder, right?"
"But they-"
"No 'but's, young sir. You know very well that we are short in staff. People are dying and you dare and kill an innocent?!" Harlow rised his voice. This version of him was scary. Hell, even Agent got scared. His ears lowered in remorse
"I swear I wasnt trying to... I-I.. arent there cameras?!"
"The cameras had no proof of them being anomaly, Mr. C." Harlow sighed and rubbed his forehead "listen, you were probably low on sanity. You hallucinated so hard you assumed intern was an anomaly and thats why you blacked out. Do you understand how serious the situation is?!"
The cat froze, his eyes shrinking. Was he seriously going insane?
"I understand.. I a-purr-ogise"
He said while looking down. Dr. Harlow nodded and walked away.

They were all silent for a while.
The Head Nurse broke the silence
"I cannot fucking take this anymore" she whispered and looked away. The next second she revealed her huge teeth. So did Nurse and Intern.
"What the fuck is going on?" The Secret agent moved back, he couldnt do anything. He was in bed, recovering with no gun nor any types of items for self defence.
"O-oh hahaha" Head Nurse laughed, with Nurse's laugh following.
"You really believed that ruff-shit?" Nurse giggled, her dog tail reflecting her mood.
"Of course he did"
Intern watched with smile, ready to devour Agent's sweet body.
Agent was terrified.

The three sat around his bed. Oh how much Agent wished he had at least the fire extinguisher to make them go away. That was it. He was facing 3 anomalies who he wasnt allowed to kill. He was going to die on that right fucking spot.
"Is that it? Will yall just devour me right now, right here?" He bitterly chuckled.
"Well, that sounds borring, doesnt it?" Nurse tilted her head on side with smirk.
"We have better things to discuess, Agent." Head Nurse said.
It took Agent few seconds to realise what she said. He felt cold, really fucking cold.
He was caught.
"What did you call me?" His voice barely reached a whisper.
"Do you seriously think I am dumb? Dont make me laugh! I knew you were up to some dirty work from the day you came here against us, Agent." Head Nurse smiled at his vulnerable state.
"Spill the tea, dearest, or you are becoming our meal" Nurse hurried him up.
Agent was looking at them with terror, his tail moving back and fourth. Poor guy almost started shaking. If he told the truth, he would be fired, if not - he is dead.
Head nurse noticed. I mean, ofc she did. She loved him and so did he. She had beef in her head. Earlier she was laughing at him and now she wanted to be a hero in front of them and save him? Purrshit. But..
"You guys can leave, he wont speak in this much preasure"
The others gave her a sideye in confusion, but didnt question much. Intern and Nurse left, leaving Head Nurse with Agent alone in a quiet room.
"..why?" Agent whispered
"What 'why'?"
"Why would you lie to me?"
"I never said I wasnt an anomaly tho, did I?" Head Nurse responded with almost no emotion on her face.
"I cant love an anomaly, I am not allowed to" Agent almost cryed.
This broke Head Nurse. She looked down, not answering for few seconds.
"I believe I deserve to know the truth too, yk."
Agent breathed out. He knew she was right.
"I am sorry. I am really sorry. I should have told you, only you before."
"So then tell me"
"...Purr-ity sure you already know this, but yes, I am an agent, so are.. few people. I was hired to spy on this corporation, in order to find out what was actually happening. I got the job here, pretended that I was a security, while finding more and more about Animal corp."
"I am sorry for not telling you that I was an anomaly"
"Its okay, I understand you. You were scared."
"I am sorry"
"You are forgiven"
Head nurse reached out her hand, gently caressing his cheek. She layed a kiss and stood up.
"I won't tell anyone. Neither you will be fired."
Thats all she said and left.

Nurse and intern begged her for answers, hell, even Dr. Harlow did.
"He threatened me. He must stay at the job or else we will all be killed" was her only answer.
