Chapter Text
A black void with colored smoke floating around. A scene Sun knew quite well. His own head.
“Have you ever not been pathetic?”
“Huh?” Sun stuttered as he looked around frantically.
He had just been in the living room, half-listening to some movie in the background as he cleaned. Then he was…wherever this was. With that smarmy echoey voice talking in the background.
“I think you heard me the first time.” The voice said, a shorter figure appearing in front of of Sun.
It was Cosmo, but with purplish greys and hot pinks. A Cheshire Cat smile and leering blacked out eyes.
Titan.
“What the hell do you want?” Sun spat angrily at the monstrous god-like creature.
“I want you to answer my question. Have you always been like this?”
Sun fumed at the question, refusing to answer. He had been going about his business when this little freak pulled him in here.
“What? Did I upset you? Not like you were doing anything that interesting anyway. I just saw you clean that room.” Titan said smugly as he floated in the air.
“Fine I don’t need your answers anyway. They’d all probably be boring anyway. I’ll just talk.” Titan said after a few seconds of tense silence.
“Why am I in my head? Why are YOU in my head?” Sun questioned.
“Can a guy not wanna talk one on one?” Titan asked “besides it’s amazingly empty in here, and hollow. Good for conversation.”
Sun tried to think of ways he could possibly get out of this. After a few weeks of living with Titans shadow hovering over all of them Sun knew Titan didn’t just ‘talk’ to people.
“Don’t be so nervous. I’m not going to kill you. Not directly anyway.” Titan said, lounging in the air like he was on a couch as he watched Sun squirm.
“I have to say, you are a very fascinating case Sun. Simultaneously the most childish and mature one in your pathetic family.”
“….what?” Sun growled through gritted metallic teeth.
“I mean you keep Moon and Monty in line when they do something stupid, but when danger comes everyone goes out of their way to protect you.”
“What’s your point?”Sun asked, wary but still seething.
“ and I mean- it’s not like it’s for no reason.” Titan continued on as if Sun hadn’t spoken “you always call for your big, strong brother when trouble comes. you’re kinda useless in anything confrontational.”
“Is this what you pulled me into here to do, taunt me like a fifth grader?”
“Whenever you actually do something, like killing your precious new Moon it’s usually because you threw a tantrum and blasted magic at them. I don’t think theirs a single villain you’ve taken down with an actual plan or any amount of intelligence.”
“Ok listen you-“
“-And yet” Titan cut him off “you still manage to be the thing keeping this family running. So I’ve been wondering. What happens when I take you out? What will you do? What will they?”
He said that last part dangerously, leaning into Suns face as his smile grew wider.
“Wha-wha?” Sun hated his stupid stutter, he sounded terrified.
“It wouldn’t be fun to just kill you though. Too easy. So I’ll make a game out of it. That way everyone has a chance.”
“A game??” Sun shouted “this is all just a stupid game to you Isn’t it you little shit? Well I’m not having any part of it! What’s even the point?!”
“The point is fun Sun! Who cares how ridiculous or cruel it seems to you losers as long as I get my kicks, And how will you stop me?” Titan asked, gripping Suns collar “not like you’ll have a chance anyway.”
Sun grabbed onto Titans hand and used direct fire magic to get his grip off. But Titan just laughed.
“That’s cute. You think you’re little sparks are good enough to stop me??” Titan mocked, taking the heat like it was nothing.
“I won’t let you-“
“For this game you’ll be separate from the family. But don’t worry, I know some great babysitters to watch out for you.” Titan said, throwing back his fist “I’ll enjoy seeing you play with them. You may even see a few…familiar names there.”
“Bye bye Sun! try not too die too fast, please and thank you.”
“Wai-“
Titan plunged his hand towards Suns neck, the force snapping it. .
—————
Sun awoke screaming. A horrible sound, Writhing and thrashing wildly as if to somehow throw Titan back. The sound was swallowed up in the large room immediately. Shrugged off, as if the walls were used to hearing such a dreadful sound and simple waved it away.
But Titan was gone, as was the art of Suns mind they were in. Instead, Sun was laying sprawled out on a cold linoleum floor, the chill of it cooling his overheating systems.
He stared up at the celling, bare save for a few lights shining down and reflecting on the floors.
Sun took a few deep breaths to collect himself, but lost the pieces very quickly.
What the hell was that about?! He was minding his own business then that maniac pulls him into his own head and calls him pathetic.
And what was all that talk of a ‘game’? The last game Titan played was with Solar and Cosmos, when he manipulated their perception of time. Sun remembered the panic that came over the house when no one could find them.
But there Titan had actually explained rules and goals, Sun was just thrown in head first. What did Titan expect him to do exactly? More importantly, what did the twisted freak want out of this?
All he knew was Titan wanted him away from his family, so Sun likely wasn’t at his home. He would need to find his own way back.
He wrapped his hands around his throat, a strong surge of dread a twinge of annoyance as he realized he didn’t have one. The pole that connected his head and torso was gone and the metal that made up both was replaced with something soft he couldn’t quite place.
Had Titan changed him?
Slowly, Sun pulled his hands to the front of his face, artificial lights outlining them. They were tiny, stubby and barley seeable above the ruffles on his sleeves.
He knew these hands and ruffles. They were on that one annoying form…
Oh no. No, no, no. Why would he?-
Sun shot up. Head spinning for a moment at the sudden movement and looked down at himself. A everything was puffy, round and soft, unlike his usual sharp and angular appearance. His body was shrunk but his clothes were oversized and frilly.
Suns mind whirled and burned as he tried to come up with any explanation other then the one he already knew was true, but the stupid pacifiar hanging from a ribbon from his collar sealed the deal.
He was a baby. Titan had turned him into a baby.
WHY??? What did he get out of it?? Watching Sun try to trudge home in a body that could just barely toddle? Have him fight monsters and get crushed like a grape?
Sun was practically foaming at the mouth as he took in his stupid pudgy body. This was all just one big joke to him, he could almost feel him giggling.
Sun checked his internals, searching for his portal device. Only to find nothing. No portal device, no communicator, not even any map. The only features he had left were only meant for his daycare attending and were childish at best. He had been babyproofed.
He screeched out, but then thought of something and clapped hands over his mouth. Titan had mentioned ‘babysitters’ in his smug little monologue, so there were most likely people nearby, and they were most definitely not friendly if Titan dropped Sun with them.
He should look around. Find alternatives. Even if he was in a different dimension he could find the daycare. Where there was a daycare there was always a portal.
He looked around with large, pale eyes. Sun was in a…children’s hospital?
Sun had been tucked away behind an operating table, the scary looking straps on it undone and tied and tools scattered dangerously across the floor, the tray they were on overturned and half broken. The smiling teddy bears, cheerful chicks and gleeful Bunny’s kept dancing on the walls above the mess, creating an uncomfortable scene.
Sun tried to shake off the chill of unease that crept through his wires. So judging by the characters, he was already in a Fazbear building.
Sun started to do the thing he was most dreading. He tried to stand. He begged the immediately wobbly legs to cooperate but it was worthless. He fell back down before he could blink.
Usually when he was trapped in this body (the fact this had happened enough for Sun to say that was sad) he could at least walk. Maybe he just needed to get used to this body again first.
Sun let out a string of words that even Eclipse would call filthy as he sat himself back up. He pracically dragged himself over to the double doors, praying they were easy to open when, he noticed the closer he got the more he heard. The more he feared.
He pressed his non-existent ears against the door, listening carefully. He heard sounds that made the oil in him go cold. Sounds Sun knew by heart.
He heard screaming
