“Sometimes, Vi looks at me as though she sees Powder in me. And sometimes I think she loves me because of the person I was and not the person I am now.” Jinx finally looked at Ekko, those pale blue eyes lit in the candlelight. Ekko could just about make out her features from his headrest on the other arm of the sofa. She tilted her head. “You don't look at me like that.”
Ekko asked, hesitantly, “And how do I look at you?”
“As if you know who I am. Better than I do. And you don't care that I'm a Jinx.”

Sometimes the universe gives you a second chance.
Ekko travels back from the alternative timeline and goes to save Jinx, but when turning back time to save her from falling he travels further back than expected. Back in the past, before the attack on the bridge, Ekko attempts to alter the course of time. But will he ever get to live the life he gave away to return?
Time travel fic. I was surprised there weren't more of these so I wrote my own.
