Intro for the shits and giggles I guess.
I really enjoy the idea of the deceased participants of SDR2 watching the game continue in the same POV you would see if you're playing it, so this is my take on that! This fic will be super Peko centered because she does die pretty early on and also I love her and Fuyupeko dearly.
As of writing this, I have not completed the game (On the chapter 4 trial), but do know the overall storyline of the next two chapters. I've also watched the stage play (another thing I highly recommend watching), and I do prefer the interpretations of some of the characters in that instead, so if something seems a little out of character, it's either that or just my writing being bad.
I aim to make this fic as lighthearted as I can, so the angst will be quite sparse. I probably won't include much about the remnants of despair, mostly because I haven't watched the anime, and also because I genuinely have no clue how the logic of it would work. The characters will also be unharmed by what they did as remnants, and will just be a slightly aged-up version of themselves
Probably good to say all the characters will be about 21-22 in this. And that they will all have their own pod room just because I think it'll be more interesting to write that way.
I think I aim to make around 20-25 chapters, but that will probably change.
