Work Text:
The world has already made up its mind: that Choi Su-bong was too much for it.
His father rejected him, only ever saw him as an insolent little pest. A nuisance if he’s ever seen one. Childish and unpleasant to be around. Too mouthy for his liking, too headstrong.
To his label, he was a liability. An ill-mannered, imprudent, absent-minded addict. A loose cannon and a walking PR disaster.
Too young to be sensible, but too old, now, to still be relevant.
An ill-advised investment in the end.
He fell out of favor with his fans once word got out about his drug habit.
Suddenly the brash, loud, cocky persona they once adored became a lot less charming.
To most, he’s too much.
But, to Nam-gyu, he couldn’t be more perfect.
