Summary
Sal tenses, immediately on high alert and he goes for the baseball bat leaning up against his dresser. A precaution he picked up when he got the place. A figure moves in the kitchen and Sal despairs at the idea of getting robbed —although can you get robbed when you have almost nothing to your name he wonders— because wouldn't that just be the cherry on his already fucked up month.
He digresses because on second thought, taking a slugger to someone's knee caps kind of would make him feel better.
