looked around the pod. Where was I?
Ryland: where's rocky?
Rocky scuttles over to him.
Ryland: I'm scared rocky. I.. I don't know where I am.
Rocky sings lullabies to him and watches him sleep.
As a young ryland sleeps, tired of everythingthe hatch doors open as a 3rd grade ryland is taken from the pod. He's clinging to the walls. Not wanting to leave. The recovery crew take his things from the pod and rocky is taken away. Ryland is screaming and kicking for rocky to be with him
Ryland: ROCKY!! PLEASE!!
He's screaming and kicking as they take rocky from him.
He's on the aircraft carrier fighting the doctors and science team who are all confused on how this happened.
Ryland: I NEED MY ROCKY!
Doctor: here's a rock..
Ryland throws it as it knocks one of two coffees from stratt
Stratt: what's goi.. holy shit. Ryland. Its me. Stratt.
Ryland runs to her as Carl comes chasing after stratt
Carl: stratt you cannot just leave a meeting because you didn't like what they.... who's the kid?
Stratt: it's ryland grace. The teacher we sent into space.
Ryland starts fussing for rocky again as he sees rocky being poked at prodded at. Running from Stratt he tries to get rocky back
Rocky swears at them repeatedly and points to ryland who clings to rocky.
Stratt: ryland you can't run off like... you're rocky.
Rocky: yes. You must be the rude one statement.
Stratt: can... I at least get a photo of you two?
Rocky: no
Stratt kneels down to Rocky's level.
Stratt: I'm gonna get a 3d scan of you so I can make a plushie of you still we can see you again. Here's ryland's tee shirts we got from the pod.
Rocky let's stratt take a 3D scan as rocky takes the tee-shirts.
Science person: stratt, rocky can accompany ryland to his medical tests. I'll see what I can do to get rocky to you guys.
Ryland is then taken back to dry land for medical tests. He fussed around the entire time until rocky came in. Ryland wouldn't sleep unless rocky was with him. Watching him
