"I'm good, really." A stupid smile was permanently plastered on his face, even as he talked. "I think I just need a quick smoke. Care to join me?"
Silas stepped off from the stool he was sitting on, patting his clothes smooth. When no answer came from Oskar, he immediately realized, "Ah, right. You don't smoke anymore?"
"Not exactly." He pursed his lips before continuing, "it's more that I am trying to keep it minimal."
His companion made a small 'o' with his mouth, nodding in understanding. He paused for a few seconds as Oskar felt his stare while he drank the last sips of his drink. The whiskey felt somewhat warmer on his tongue and even hotter down his throat. He stared back at Silas, who let out a quick cough.
"Keep me company, then?"
or, Silas offers Oskar a way to relieve them both from their stress.
