Chapter Text

It’s been days since Wifies saw it…saw the Leviathan. He’s experienced many ARGs, many entities…but this? With his own eyes? Hits different. Though, since then, he’s been struggling to get out of bed. His body ached, he’s been throwing up water? He doesn’t understand why his body is being like this. Doesn’t help that the closest person who could help him doesn’t truly exist….

—

Laying in bed, his hair a mess and he was in shark themed pajamas. His hand rested on his stomach, he felt like he wanted to curl up in a ball and cry, this hurt. Then again, women go through cramps all the time. He had his phone in the other, refreshing emails constantly, hoping for an inkling of Hummer to email him back.

As he laid, his jolted and leaned over the trash once again and threw up more water. He felt like he was drowning all the time, made it hard to breathe at times. “Mnn. ..”

He took a couple minutes to catch his breath and cough before shifting to his back once again. “Ugggh….fuuuuck.” He huffs. What was even happening to him? Was this all because he saw the leviathan?…

…

With a shaky hand, he grabbed his phone again and sent a new email to Hummer. Even if he wasn’t real, it’ll at least bring peace of mind.

Dear Hummer,

I’m unsure if you’ll read this. I’m unsure if you’re even real.

You knew so much about Levi and you said you felt him near, so maybe you might’ve had a similar experience to me. I’ve been throwing up water and had this pressure over my body since the day I met Levi. I don’t know why but I just wanted to see if you had anything similar.

Yours, Wifies

The minute he sent it, he hurled again. Wifies was exhausted. He just hoped Hummer or at least, Levi would answer.

More days have passed, the symptoms haven’t gotten better. Wifies spent most of his days with throwing up, lying in bed and doing college. Hasn’ been easy since the aches only got worse. He was like a whining puppy as he was clutching his stomach and groaned in pain. Hummer never responded and it just made him lose faith even more. Faith in his existence.

Knock Knock Knock

Wifies jolted, bad move. He swallowed back the water in his mouth….”mnn..”

No one should be visiting him to his knowledge. All his friends don’t live anywhere near him and most people leave him alone. The Knocking returned and Wifies knew he couldn’t ignore it. Stumbling to stand, he held his stomach as he slowly made his way to the door. His body felt like one massive bruise that didn’t want to heal. He shakily opened the door and leaned against the door frame to balance himself before seeing who was actually there.

“Hello Wifies.” A familiar voice was heard from the person. Looking at him, there was familiar tv head with the familiar casual formal fit. Wifies was speechless. How did he know where he lived? They stared for a minute before Hummer broke the silence. “Can I come in?” He said kindly.

Wifies shook his head to bring himself back to reality. “O-oh yeah, sorry.” He shifted out of the way, still leaning on the wall. Honestly, even if he knew Hummer was just the fake identity of Levi….he didn’t mind. Better than being alone.

”Nice place you got.” He said softly, keeping a close eye on Wifies under the tv.

”Thanks-“ he put his other hand up to his mouth….god he felt like throwing up again. It almost felt like water filled his lungs.

Hummer picking up on the effects, went over to Wifies, “Best recommendation for these symptoms is not to move around too much.” He gently guided Wifies back to his bed. Wifies sat down and-

“GURK!”

Wifies covered his mouth and Hummer got him the bin to throw up. He noticed it seemed Wifies been dealing with his side effects for a while. He watched as Wifies threw up water and sat next to him, gently rubbing his back as he waited.

”Ugghhh…” Wifies groaned again as he set the trash down.

Hummer took the Tv off, exposing his human looking head with fish fins for ears and the eyes of the leviathan. “Just breathe, things are gonna be alright.” He looked at the marks on Wifies neck and smiled softly. Wifies flopped back on his bed, and was surprised when Hummer grabbed his hand, gently rubbing it in a soothing way.

He took a deep breath before speaking, ”How did you even know where I lived?”

”Levi knows how to find his people.” Hummer said with a sharp toothy smile.

Wifies laughed a bit, “Sure does.” He smiled a bit despite being in pain. He found it interesting that Hummer liked to refer to Levi in third person despite them being the same person…

.Hummer just seeing Wifies not question his wording or how it worked further made him smile, he just believed in Levi’s words. “How are you feeling?” He pressed one of Wifies fingers gently, and saw the claw that peeked out, the changes seemed to be moving smoothly.

Wifies winced a bit from the slight pressure, “Like garbage.” He huffed.

”Understandable.” He kept hold of Wifies hand continued to gently rub it. “But you should be fine.”

”Should?” Wifies sat up quickly and winced, clearly regretting it as his body felt like he had a bunch of burns along his body when nothing be present. “Nope, shouldn’t have sat up.” He flopped back down.

…”You are the first person Levi has done this too.” He was embarrassed. Levi has never truly let someone meet him and let into his realm. This whole thing was new to even him.

….

Wifies sighs and boops Hummer while laying down, “Thank you for being honest at least.” He didn’t care enough to question what was happening, he just wanted the pain to stop and meds don’t work.

Hummer, seeing the expression of tiredness on Wifies face, he ended up sitting him up against the headboard and gently ran his hand over the markings on his neck. Wifies felt weird but he trusted Hummer….he trusted the leviathan. Oddly the area was a bit sensitive which was weird.

“Am I hurting you at all?” He asked kindly.

Wifies body relaxed a bit, some of the pain was gone but still present. “No.” He huffed. This felt so weird but they knew what they were doing….kinda…..okay, he probably has no idea, he literally admitted to the fact he’s never done….whatever is going on with him, before….

Hummer pulled his hand back and sat next to him. “Should hopefully finish in the next week or so. You should probably rest in the meantime with how uhh…exhausted you seem.” He smiled a bit awkwardly.

”Do you……do you mind sticking around then?” He asked awkwardly. “Please?” Wifies didn’t want to be alone while not really understanding what was happening to him. Hummer as much as they barely know eachother, did understand somewhat and was a kind face to see.

Hummer was surprised with Wifies asking, with faith in him… he smiled, “Yeah, I don’t mind.”

It was late at night, Wifies was asleep and Hummer was watching him. He did have a chance to look around earlier, small place but it was nice. Honestly his office looked like it belonged in the Backrooms but he didn’t mind. Wifies did say he did make args and mystery videos online.

Sitting on the bed, the marks on Wifies were more apparent. Levi didn’t like how it made him suffer but then again, it’s what puts faith into him. Wifies was willing to drown to put his faith into him….towards Hummer, to Levi,….for the same person. That’s all he wanted, was someone to put their faith in him and Wifies did that. Even now he still has faith.

Hummer gently rubbed Wifies side where more markings were. The ones of the Leviathan. He smiled softly seeing them. These would be with him until the end of time, no matter the lifetime.
