By different he meant, she's acting less strict, which was odd, she never was “less strict” about anything, but that would be a good thing, is it not? Perhaps… he's a little happier with that. because that is what he wanted, wasn't it? It's not the mom that would hold his hand while he had a bad dream, he was too old for that anyways.
Today, surprisingly a special day, she said, they would have visitors that will stay with them till the second last day of the Easter vacation. It was unusual for them to have visitors that will stay overnight with them, for two weeks too. Mother seemed to be happy about this visit too.
