Summary
Adelita 'Lita' Solera has not seen the Codys in over thirteen years when she returns to them in the middle of the night, covered in blood and in desperate need of their help. In the interim, a lot has changed. Just as she is no longer the child they knew--now a grown woman and an infamous ecoterrorist, like the parents they knew before her--they are no longer the family she remembers. People have come and gone, dynamics have shifted, and her rose-colored glasses have come off. In order to survive and get back to where she belongs, Lita knows she must relearn them. It seems simple enough--that is until Smurf, the matriarch, pairs her with the mercurial eldest son.
