it took some recovery, but tony was able to make it back to the avengers' home in stark tower after the snap. there were some things that would take getting used to. the limb paralysis, never being left alone for too long, and the frequent gaps in his memory which warped his idea of reality. but banner assured him his brain was fully functioning, and some visions of a young boy named peter parker were too vivid not to be true.
or
tony survives endgame and the stones made him partially resistant to the magic which erased peter, plus both of them are depressed.
