Welcome to Off The Record.
This story is a political thriller AU centered around Teetee Wanpichit Nimitparkpoom, an investigative journalist, and Por Suppakarn Jirachotikul, a prominent Thai politician. What begins as their usual journalist-and-politician tension slowly turns into something much more complicated when a corruption scandal emerges within Por's own ministry.
Expect political intrigue, investigative journalism, corruption, secrets, suspense, morally complicated choices, slow-burn romance, and a whole lot of people who probably should have kept their mouths shut :)
Before we begin, here's a quick introduction to the world and the people you'll be meeting throughout the story.

With that out of the way... let's meet the people who are about to make this story incredibly complicated!
POR'S SIDE :
- Por Suppakarn Jirachotikul --> Minister of Social Development, Human Rights & International Cooperation
One of Thailand's most trusted politicians, Por is known for his work in human rights, humanitarian affairs, and international cooperation. Coming from a long-established political family, he has built his own reputation through years of public service and advocacy.
- Auau Thanphum Sestasittikul --> Senior Policy & International Affairs Official
Por's closest colleague and longtime best friend. Auau serves as one of Por's most trusted political advisors, particularly when it comes to policy, diplomacy, and navigating the complicated machinery of government.
- Save Worapong Walor --> Policy & Political Strategy Officer
Auau's longtime colleague and trusted assistant. Save is deeply familiar with both the political and personal sides of Auau, making him one of the few people who can tell when Auau is hiding something.
- Otto Sorrann Suksawat --> Minister of Trade, Economic & Regional Cooperation
A prominent politician from another influential political family, Otto is known for his work in international trade and regional cooperation. He and Por frequently collaborate on international affairs and have developed a strong professional friendship.
- Patji Jirachart Buspavanich --> Deputy Policy Officer / Human Rights Program Coordinator
Por's junior colleague of four years. Patji looks up to Por as both a mentor and an older-brother figure and has become one of the people Por trusts within his department.
- Ryujin Tinnapat Tusnytraitep --> International Human Rights Officer
Patji's colleague and close friend. Ryujin is analytical, observant, and particularly skilled at working with policy data and international human-rights programs.
- Thomas Teetut Chungmanirat --> Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Social Development, Human Rights & International Cooperation
A highly respected senior civil servant with decades of experience in government. Thomas serves as one of Por's closest advisors and oversees much of the ministry's administrative and institutional operations.
TEETEE'S SIDE :
- Teetee Wanpichit Nimitparkpoom --> Investigative Journalist & Head of Political Investigations
The heir to one of Bangkok's most influential media families, Teetee chose journalism and works at the family business instead of inheriting it. Known for his sharp writing and fearless questions, he has built a reputation for challenging even the country's most powerful politicians.
- North Chatachapon Pranotphong --> Investigative Political Journalist
Teetee's best friend and fellow investigative journalist. North specializes in political reporting, particularly the work of Minister Otto Sorranan Suksawat, and is just as unafraid of asking difficult questions.
- Thee Thirati Eksathian --> Political Features & Policy Journalist
A close friend and colleague of Teetee who assists with some of the newsroom's more complicated political investigations. While highly capable, Thee tends to be more cautious than Teetee when it comes to crossing dangerous lines.
- Wave Thanaphat Tansakul --> Head Editor, Political Investigations
Teetee's longtime editor and one of his closest friends. Having worked with Teetee since the beginning of his career, Wave knows exactly how far Teetee is willing to go, and spends much of his time making sure he doesn't go too far.
- Tutor Koraphat Lamnoi --> Senior Investigative Journalist
Five years older than Teetee and once his mentor, Tutor remains one of the people Teetee trusts most for professional advice. He acts as a steadying force whenever Teetee's investigations become too reckless.
- Yim Prarinyakorn Kansawa --> Senior Political Journalist
Tutor's longtime partner and another senior figure in the newsroom. Yim is the more emotionally attentive half of the duo and often keeps an eye on Teetee's well-being when the pressure of journalism becomes too much.
NOTE :
This is the second LONG fanfic I’m writing (when it comes to teeteepor, I usually write short fic's or oneshot's), and I’m doing this purely out of fun (but ofc I had a few doubts at the beginning of publishing this fanfic of teeteepor with this plot, because it took me months to really plan the whole thing out *Arc and Plot wise*). Till now, I still don't know how long this fanfic will be written (chapter count-wise), sooo I'm still putting it as "?", but once I've decided on the chapter count, I will surely update you all through notes of upcoming ending chapters.
