“... So what do you think Lime?” Blue finished their long rant, looking expectantly at Lime, who was staring at the same stain on the table.
“Huh.” Lime snapped out of their thoughts and returned their gaze to Blue.
“Were you listening at all? God. It's like all everyone does is just stare at the hot doctor. I am more than my looks! No one seems to get it! You are part of it! No one listens to me! I thought you were different.” Blue looked down.
“Big dawg, I’m sorry, I was just-”
“You were just what? Staring at the hot doctor?”
“No! I wasn't! Because I don't see you that way!”
“That's what everyone says.” Blue got up and left.
“Big dawg!” They called out to a now empty hallway.
“Fuck..”
They sat in the now-empty medbay, staring at where Blue once sat.
You know it's your fault.
“What?” They muttered.
You just drive a wedge between everyone you meet.
I mean.. Wait, what are you?
I’m your true thoughts silly!
I don’t think that!?
But it's true, limey.
The nickname made them gag.
Stop.
You want to get rid of me? The voice of truth?
They started breathing harder, while each breath came with less air.
They just.. walked out. Because of YOU. Limey.
They wanted to throw up. They felt tears run down their face. What did they do wrong?
“Lime?” Blue Pink said.
“No.. No, No!” They said, backing into the wall.
“Limey, it's okay, it’s not like they loved you anyway!” Pink's voice called out as they stepped closer.
“Get back! Do not touch me!” Lime screamed at Blue Pink.
“Oh but, I’ve touched you before, and you didn't seem to mind too much, Limey.” Blue Pink said. “Pink” was close enough to do basically whatever they wanted. Kiss, or take off Limes backpack.
“G- Get away! Don’t come closer! Please.” Lime held their hand up defensively.
“Oh please, what are you going to do, hit me? I can just.. Do whatever I want.. And no one will believe you.. Limey.” “Pink” leaned in..
Lime swung their arm sloppily, striking what was Pink.
Pinks appearance disappeared, revealing a very shocked Blue.
Blue held their cheek, blood spilling through the crack in their visor.
“What the fuck was that for?!” Blue yelled.
Lime just stared at their hand, the realization hitting them back.
They just hit the only person that might love them.
“Blue, I- I didn't mean too.!” Lime looked up at the damage they caused.
“You didn't mean to purposely hit me?”
“No! I mean.. Wait- It's.. hard to explain. Please don't leave me.” Lime pleaded, looking at Blue huffing.
“Explain. Now. Or I leave.” Blue glared at the attacker.
“Wait so uhm I saw Pink instead of you and it leaned in too close and I swatted it away! I didn't mean to hit you. I love you. I didn't mean to harm you. I didn't mean for you to be harmed. I was trying to harm Pink, not you. I'm sorry please don't leave. I didn't mean for it to happen. I won't do it again. I'm sorry!” Lime rambled, desperately trying to get across to Blue.
“You.. What?” Blue looked at them confused, the same three words echoing in their mind.
“Huh?” Lime looked at Blue with the same confusion, before it struck them.
“Oh- Oh my god! I- Uh- Didnt hah mean that.. Unless uhm.. You know.. Uhm.. Believe that too?” Lime looked at them, hope twinkling in their eyes.
