Fitz stared at the shards of the broken power source. It was gone.
She was gone.
Sophie Elizabeth Foster had disappeared.
And it was all because of Keefe. Because he couldn't bare a life without her.
Now they no chance of defeating the Neverseen.
It was his fucking fault.
"What the fuck was that!" Fitz said to the blond with a rasied voice.
"I-I'm sorry." Keefe tried.
"Oh my stars Keefe." Fitz's voice began to crack.
"Please," Keefe murmured, "Can we not do this here" Gesturing to the people around them.
A slight rain pour had started, as if the sky had sensed some thing was wrong.
"No!" The Vacker was full on shouting now.
"You're destroying everything, and for what, so you could swap spit with some stupid girl?"
The rain came down heavier.
"Sophie isn't fucking stupid, " Keefe yelled back." And it's not my fault you dont like girls!"
All the fight immediately drained out of Fitz. All the anger, replaced with hurt.
Because Keefe had said it.
He had said it in front of all of their freinds.
He had said it in front of Dex.
"I'm not trying to be a jerk, okay." Keefe said, obviously seeing the pain in Fitz's expression.
It was now pouring.
Fitz hoped, feebly, that the downpour would hide the tears streaming down his face.
What was the point now?
What was point in fighting back when Keefe had revealed his brokenness in front of everyone?
So he didn't.
The brunet simply rasied his home crystal above his head, glittering into the night.
