Yugo found his heart being dragged towards someone else.
He wanted to keep his love for Hinana. She was amazing in everyway. He worked so incredibly hard to be her perfect husband. But... Everytime he spoke with Shion (reluctantly), his heart skipped a beat.
Shion was energetic and cute. It's something that all the girls seemed to fall for. He originally kept an eye on Shion to study his ways. It wasn't "stalking" if he swore it was just to take notes. He slowly began to watch over Shion more often than the others. Never more than Hinana... That's what he was thinking atleast.
The working hours were done. Yugo and Shion happen to clock out at the same time.
Shion instantly went up to Yugo, "Hey! You've been super stalker-ish with me lately. Am I that cute?"
Yugo instantly backed away. Though, only a step, "No! Not at all! I have simply been... studying. My eyes only stalk Hinana."
"Heheh. Are you super sure?"
"I'm sure."
"Super duper sure?"
"Super duper sure."
"Super duper duper sure?"
"Yes, I'm absolutely sure!" Yugo raised his voice. He didn't realize it, but his cheeks were becoming warm. Shion was inching closer to him and he hadn't backed away once.
Shion giggled, "Younger boys are so easy to tease~ Come on, let's go 'learn' some more!" He took Yugos hand and dragged him along. Yugo stumbled as he tried to follow.
"How do you walk so quickly?!"
Shion simply hummed, not properly answering. Yugo huffed.
He brought them up to the rooftop. Shion helped Yugo up onto the water tank. He wanted to protest, but Shion directed his attention elsewhere.
The sun was slowly setting, filling the clear skies with orange, red, and purple hues. Yugo never really thought to look up at his surrounding in such a way. He was too busy focusing on one person, the one he wants to marry.
Seeing such a sight left him in silence. Shion looked over and grinned, "Great, isn't it? This place gives the best view."
"...Yeah. It's good."
Shion laughed. He put his head on Yugos shoulder, "You know it's not just 'good'. You're just being stubborn."
Yugos eyes widened and looked down at Shions head. He seemed so... calm around Yugo. It made him uneasy. Or, maybe this was a different feeling? His cheeks felt like they were burning. His skin felt like it was on fire. He couldn't focus on anything but the contact between him and Shion.
Maybe it's ok to change paths? He wanted to marry Hinana so bad, convinced that they were already in love... But, Shion was actually showing the love he wanted. His mind was all jumbled up and confused.
Shion was calm. He's had a small crush on Yugo since he has been hired. He was a cute boy who was a year younger than him afterall. It'd be weird if a senpai didn't mess with his kouhai! The more he interacted with him the bigger his feelings grew. He very much saw how Yugo acted towards Hinana, but he didn't find that to be an issue. They were both young and can't help but admire older people.
He wasn't usually this direct but it just... felt right. He felt how stiff Yugo was against him. It didn't bother Shion at all. He simply waited. As the sun set lower, Yugos body relaxed, seemingly accepting his place.
They both watched the sunset. It was quiet. Peaceful even. The breeze was light against them. The sky only had a couple clouds scattered along the colored space.
Shion looked down. He saw Yugos hand in his lap. He wanted to hold it. His fingers twitched subconciously as he held back. He knew he shouldn't, so he wouldn't.
Shion wait as long as he needs to for Yugo.
