"No, Bon, seriously it's fine. Go, I seriously couldn't care less, sounds fun." Kalynn faced away from Hanbon as she spoke, closing kitchen cupboards.
"I don't want to upset you," Hanbon stared at the back of Kalynn's head and she fiddled with the sleeve of her pink hoodie.
"Oh no, I won't be upset that you're leaving me after like what, 2 months? To live with and start a channel with your friend who everyone thinks you're dating, It's fine, truly." Kalynn turned around to address Hanbon, putting her hands in her jean pockets as she did so.
"Kalynn, you sound upset."
"Of course I'm fucking upset Hanbon! I thought I meant something to you, I thought there was-" She cupped Hanbon's face in her hands, which Hanbon noted were soft and smelt of her shea butter hand cream. "-nevermind." she let go of Hanbon, returning her hands to her pockets.
"What? Say it!" Hanbon stomped her right foot.
"I thought you liked me, the way I like you." Kalynn looked away from Hanbon, the floorboards of her New York apartment seeming ever so interesting.
"Oh. I'm sorry Kalynn but I don't see you that way, I thought you knew that,"
"You're telling me all of that was casual? every single minute we spent together was just "girl time"" she said in air quotes "No- Hannah, I'm done, I can't stand to look at you. "
"Kalynn I-"
"Hannah, get out, please. "
"Fine."
"Fine."

"...We have so many ideas for you! We can't wait for you to watch it all!"
Kalynn rolled her eyes as Hanbon's ever too familiar voice echoed through the walls of her apartment once more, yet this time, coming through the speakers on her phone. She hadn't told Weston about any of it, she knew he'd accidentally leak it in front of a fan in public or just outright say it in a video and it wouldn't be cut. Kalynn had seen what had happened to other YouTubers who came out, she couldn't take it, and the amount of extra crap she'd get for just being a girl would push her over the edge. She thought of Weston too, the amount of horrible comments he'd get for just being related to her, she couldn't stand to watch it. She knew he saw it as a joke, but she knew it wasn't, how she felt, truly, wasn't funny, and she was happy she had the confidence to say something, yet confirm nothing. It wouldn't come until she confirmed it.
She missed Hanbon. The pink cups she'd left in the cupboard had gone unused for over a week now and it felt weird to not see them in the sink, the last few drips of orange juice in them. She'd had to bin the oranges Hanbon had left behind. It felt like Hanbon was still home. When they'd lived together, every evening, Hanbon would peel an orange, kiss the crown of Kalynn's head before sitting beside her to eat it and talk about her day. She really missed Hanbon. But she didn't have the time to think about it, Weston had sent her a long list of games for the pair of them to play in the next handful of videos, for now, she decided to sleep, her head laying on a pillow that still smelt of shea butter lotion, orange shampoo and hibiscus tea. It smelt of Hanbon.
Kalynn finished the video the next morning, she couldn't deny that it was really funny. She played it as she did her makeup, leaning over a chest of drawers to get as close as possible to the mirror, repeatedly redoing her lipgloss from laughing whilst applying it. Lipgloss which wasn't hers but, why would Hanbon care? She'd wasted enough of it on Kalynn anyway.
