Alright then, let’s go over this one last time.

My name is Agott Arklaum. I was bitten by a radioactive spider.

The bell rang throughout the school as the sounds of bags zipping, desks screeching against the concrete floor, and students shuffling and chattering filled the school once more. Agott had just finished packing up her notebook by the time half of the class was out of the room. She stood up, slinging her bag over one shoulder while her free hand fixed her glasses, then she followed the crowd of students flogging the door.

“And remember, class!” Qifrey’s voice rang out in its usual calm timbre as his body leaned on his desk. “Your English essays are due on Monday!”

A chorus of “ Yes, Mr Qifrey” fills the room as they all pile out one by one, chatter being made amongst each other about the plans they’ll make for the day.

“Right, and Agott?” Qifrey calls out gently, making the girl in question freeze and turn towards him. “I hope I’ll see you at art club later?” He asked, pushing off the desk with a small, gentle smile. “It has been a while since you have joined us, but I know your other extracurricular have been taking priority lately.”

Agott blinked at the silver-haired man, then looked away with a small, awkward breath. “Of course, Mr Qifrey.” She leaned her head towards the side. “I apologise for missing your club activities. It’s just that the debate team has been busy lately.”

He sighed softly and pressed his hand on Agott’s shoulders, his ice blue eyes softening further for her. “Agott,” He whispered, his hold gentle and warm. “Remember, honour your limits; you needn’t strain yourself.”

Agott paused, looking away from the blue eyes that greeted her with warmth. “I am well aware, Mr Qifrey. But you mustn’t worry much; I am doing fine.”

“You are only in your second year of high school, Agott.” Qifrey reminded, pulling his hand back from Agott’s shoulder just in case. “I understand that you would not stop until your mother is satisfied, but…”

He paused and glanced back at the window, seeing the kids who were just Agott’s age hang around. “ I would be satisfied if I see you enjoy your years here.” The English teacher turned back towards Agott with a warm smile. “Not just me either; Olly would want you to let you be yourself here.”

“So please give it a try? If not for you then perhaps for the two of us?”

She looked back at Qifrey and his soft smile, then sighed begrudgingly, holding her head high. “Okay, I will do my best.” Her arms dropped as she slowly backed away while facing the silver-haired teacher. “However, I wouldn’t expect much progress.”

Qifrey chuckled, reaching for his messenger bag. “Well, I welcome any progress, regardless.” He watched Agott turn away and reach for the door. “Oh, and you needn’t call me such formalities. I am technically your uncle, am I not?”

“Only through marriage,” Agott mumbled as she creaked the door open. “But I could stop the honourifics after class?”

“It’s a start.” He followed after Agott, making sure the lights were shut before locking the door.

“By the way, Mr Qifrey, I want to stop by the public library after Art club, if that is okay with you?”

“Oh, well that’s alright then, just be home before dark. Olly is making us Calamari for dinner.”

Agott hadn’t taken five steps into the Art room when she was suddenly pulled into the embrace of a familiar pink-haired girl. “Tetia—”

“Agott! It’s been sooo long!” She cried out, holding Agott like she had been at sea for decades. “I thought you had abandoned us!”

“Tetia, we live in the same house!” The raven-haired girl grunted through the tight hug that was squeezing the air out of her lungs.

The pink-haired girl slowly released Agott, letting the poor girl breathe and return to her senses. “But this is different! You rarely come to Art club these days.”

“Tetia, Agott, do you two mind assisting me here?” Qifrey called out; the art room was empty save for him, Agott and Tetia.

“Of course!”

“Right.”

The room was your typical classroom with cabinets to the side holding all the art supplies they needed for their art activities, followed by a row of tables in the middle. To the other side of the classroom were canvases full of paintings and illustrations on display.

Agott shook her head and fixed her glasses, recovering from the tight hug she was just in. “I’ve been busy, Tetia.” She set her bag down and approached the nearby cabinets for some canvases.

Tetia huffed, crossing her arms while she looked at Agott with concern. “You’re always busy, Agott.”

She said nothing, placing a canvas on the table’s canvas holders, her eyes flitting back at Tetia. “Can you get the acrylics?”

“Of course I can.” She replied, opening a nearby cabinet to retrieve paintbrushes and acrylics. “But I mean it, Agott,” Tetia added while bringing the supplies over. “You should start attending more.”

“Every club president needs their vice-president! Am I right?” She grinned, setting the supplies aside as she leaned on the table.

Agott could only stare back at her and her pink eyes, dropping her head in defeat. Damn herself and her need to assume leadership roles! “I suppose so. Her eyes shot towards the fixed paints and brushes, and she sighed. “Thank you for the help.”

The pink-haired girl chuckled and shook her head. “No, no, thank you for thanking me—”

The door pushed open, causing the club’s president and vice-president to snap their heads at the sound, finding the students of the art club pooling in. Tetia glanced at Agott, who glanced

down at her watch in response; they had been so lost in the conversation they had forgotten that the club hours had just begun.

“Oh, is Coco here?” Agott mumbled subconsciously as they watched students pile into the room one by one, looking for the familiar green-haired girl in the midst.

Tetia smirked at Agott, gently bumping her hip with her vice-president’s. “Oooh~ Look at you, lover boy.”

“Shut up.” She hissed, side-eyeing the pink-haired girl with a glare that had no effect on her. “I was just curious. We only got to talk during lunch.”

Students continued to pile in while the club’s president smiled and clasped her hands; her eyes gleamed like a plan was being plotted. “Well, if you value her time with her so badly, I suppose I can arrange something…”

“You wouldn’t,” Agott accused, her finger pointing at Tetia, scowling at the pink-haired teen who only smiled smugly, arms crossed. “You wouldn’t dare abuse your club president authority for this.”

Tetia chuckled, as low as a villain in those cheesy superhero movies. “Watch me, Arklaum.”

Agott groaned at the pink-haired girl. “Tetia!”

“Oh hi, Agott!” Coco beamed as she saw Agott take her spot beside her; her hand and arm were already stained with pain by the time the raven-haired got to her.

“Coco,” Agott replied curtly, leaning towards the side to look at the reference before going back, her brush meeting the canvas.

“I didn’t know you were going to take that spot now.” She commented while continuing her own painting, glancing between the canvas and Agott with a quirked eyebrow and a curious look.

“Well,” The raven-haired girl stopped, glancing at Coco with a slight blush before leaning slightly to the side to glare at Tetia, who was just behind the green-haired girl. She was grinning back at Agott, letting out a thumbs-up. She sighed and leaned back to her full height, her face slightly flushed. “Someone took my usual place near Mr Qifrey.”

“And this is the only open spot.” She added, looking away from Coco amidst her blush, pulling all the focus she could possibly have on the canvas.

She looked at Agott for a minute longer before going back to her canvas with a hum. “So that’s why.” Coco leaned towards the side to take a look at the reference as well; she squinted and groaned. “Agott, can you see the little yellow thing behind the grapes?”

Agott sighed, peering up from her canvas to find the fruit. “They’re mangoes.”

“Thank you!” She replied, breathing a sigh of relief as the two fell into silence while the rest of the art room was filled with hushed chatter as they continued painting the 3 bowls of fruit.

In all the chatter of the room, or the presence of Coco beside her, Agott really did try to stay focused on the task at hand and on her own personal mission. She took a deep breath and put the brush down, her gaze towards Coco again. “Coco?”

“I know it’s the weekend,” Agott gently placed her brush on the table, her hands shaking much more than they usually should. “But I was wondering if you wanted to come with me to the library after this.”

Coco stared back at her, amber hues meeting purple in a pregnant pause. Agott felt like she was going to die red-faced and dumbfounded.

“It isn’t as cool as the arcade.” She quickly interjected, her hand reaching the table, gripping it with all her might as she leaned on it as coolly as she could. “But I’ve been meaning to visit for the longest time, and you asked me if I could help you prepare for the geometry test.”

The raven-haired girl shook her head, her hand reaching for the brush. “Never mind, forget—”

“Oh, no, no!” Coco gestured her hands wildly to get her attention back; her face was as flushed as Agott’s. “I’d love to go with you!”

She paused, retracting her hand, opting to place it on the wood. “Really?” She mumbled, her face getting more flustered by the second.

Qifrey’s smooth voice rang out in the background, probably going around assisting some of the art students. In the back, Richeh and Tetia were watching the pair act like bumbling tomato-faced fools! It was somehow a miracle that only those two were paying attention to Agott and Coco’s conversations.

“Yes, of course I do!” Coco breathed out, shifting her body to lean dangerously close to the canvas while she held her brush away from herself. Her free hand reached up to scratch her nape as she let out an awkward chuckle. “Besides, my mom has been worrying over how I don’t go out with friends as much.” She gestured between the two of them. “So I guess it’s a win-win for us both?”

Agott stood still, taking in Coco and her words as she let out a shaky breath. “I guess so…” She tore her gaze from the green-haired girl, finding her gaze on Coco’s brush. “… Also, you have some brown on your orange.”

“I do?!” Coco snapped out of it, her head turning toward her canvas to find a noticeable splot of brown paint on the orange fruit that she had accidentally left in her distractions. Her face became even redder as she put the brush down in favour of another one she could use to fix her error. “Just when I was figuring things out, I…”

Agott looked upon Coco as she fumbled about; she looked… cute. The Arklaum teen sighed wistfully as she slowly stepped closer towards Coco to help her for what felt like the thousandth time. “No, here, look, you can fix this by…”

Just beside them, Richeh pulled Tetia out of her painting and pointed towards Agott and Coco; the two were practically stuck to each other's side as Agott helped guide Coco. “Tetia, look.”

Tetia grinned triumphantly; a small happy squeak was made from her breath as she slowly pulled up her phone to sneak a picture. “Just wait until the rest hears about this…”

Coco hummed softly as she read the titles of books on spines, running her hand along the books. “I never realised how nice it is here.”

The library’s exterior was sleek, modern, annoyingly bleak and bland with white concrete, dark grey panels and rows of windows. The interior was no better: white walls and grey tiles and a matching set of dark modern bookshelves to match, but unlike the state of other libraries, it was clean, neat, and well-conditioned. Yet the whole place was still a far cry from the Athenaeum in Agott’s home with its aged architecture and warm lighting.

“They must’ve had some good funding.” Agott turned around, finding a plaque with a familiar family sigil.

This library was made possible by the generous donation of the Arklaum Foundation and the Arklaum family, whose determination to spread knowledge makes dreams and possibilities come true.

‘That’s just absolute bollocks.’ Agott sourly thought, breaking her gaze from the plaque and towards Coco. “I think we should find a map of the library…”

An hour into Agott tutoring Coco later, and the girl in question sighed, pushing off the chair as she stood up. “I need to go to the bathroom.” She whispered to Agott, who paused and nodded as she fixed her glasses.

“Sure, go on ahead, I’ll wait.” She leaned back against the chair as Coco smiled at her and walked away. Once she was out of earshot, the Arklaum girl let out a long, exhausted sigh; she wanted the desk to just take her whole already. Lost in her clouded thoughts, she had failed to notice the black and purple spider that slowly descended from the ceiling and onto her hand. In one smooth motion, the bug had driven its fangs into the skin.

Agott stilled, her gaze staring back at the weird-coloured spider before smacking it off her hand.

“Hey, I’m back,” Coco announced as she slowly returned to her seat, looking at Agott and how she seemed to have zeroed in on her hand. “Everything okay?”

Purple eyes continued to look at her hand before turning towards Coco. “I’m alright; a spider just got onto my hand.”

“Are you okay?” The green-haired girl asked next, her hands flipping towards the next page.

Agott nodded and turned back towards her own book. “Yes,” she fixed her glasses again. “Most spider vemons are harmless to humans; it shouldn’t be that concerning.”

She breathed a sigh of relief whilst her friend leaned over to check on how she was doing. “That’s good.”

“It’s getting late,” Agott murmured, looking out of the many window panes by the entrance. “Can I walk you home later?”

Coco looked up from her book, blinking in surprise. Agott Arklaum was offering to take her home?! “Are you sure?” She faltered, blush creeping up her neck. “I can walk home just fine.”

“It’s alright, Coco, I insist.” Agott slowly closed the book, her eye on the page number for reference. “I think it’d be nice to have some company for a bit.”

“Well, if it’s okay with you then, you can walk home with me.”

“I’m home,” Agott mumbles out as she opens the apartment door. She rubbed her throbbing temple while she rounded the hallway and made it to the kitchen, finding Olruggio, Qifrey, and Tetia already seated while the smell of calamari and garlic bread filled the room.

Qifrey sighed a breath of relief; he looked like he was a minute away from just bursting from his seat and going after the raven-haired girl. “I was wondering what took you so long.”

“I apologise, Uncle Qifrey.” Agott hummed and took her seat in front of Tetia; the girl had a knowing look. “I wanted to walk Coco home first.” She caught the way she and her father looked at her, pausing mid-reach of the garlic bread. “What?”

Olruggio looked between his husband, foster daughter and his niece, and began blinking rapidly, his fork already stabbing in a piece of Calamari. “Is there summat I don’t know?”

Tetia paused and gaped at Olruggio, looking at the raven-haired man as if he didn’t believe the sky was blue. “Don’t you know, Dad?” She said, looking between him and the purple-eyed girl. “Agott has a hugeee crush on—”

“Wow, Uncle Olruggio!” Agott suddenly hissed, taking a bite into the garlic bread while she glared daggers at Tetia. “This garlic bread is really good!”

Silence filled the dinner table at Agott’s sudden outburst, the three staring back at the Arklaum who only looked away and cleared her throat.

“She has a crush on Coco,” Tetia interjected, not even a second later.

Agott scowled back at Tetia, her face red. “She’s lying; it’s nothing.”

Olruggio made a small hum noise as he leaned towards Tetia with a small smile. “Now that ain’t just nowt, that’s t’ late transferee last year aye?”

Tetia nodded, smiling at Agott while she ate her food. “It’s wonderful really, you know how they had that diadem incident last year…?”

The Arklaum sighed, rubbing the bridge of her nose as the news played in the background.

Researchers from the M.I.R.B. agency are currently scrambling throughout the city as their spokesperson had just updated the press on the missing experimental spider-subject from their recent studies that had broken out of its holding last Wednesday.

“Agott?” Qifrey called out, making the teen glance up at him. “Are you alright? You look lost in your mind there.”

“Maybe she's thinking about Coco.”

Agott shook her head at both of them, her face getting red again as Qifrey let out a soft laugh at the words. “I’m fine, Uncle Qifrey.” She took a piece of Calamari. “I was listening to the news.”

“That’s good then.” He whispered, looking over at Tetia and Olruggio talk about something else. “Im glad you’re taking my advice, be it in your own way.”

The teen’s purple eyes met ice blue while she nodded slowly, taking in the gentle words. “Of course, uncle.”

The two enjoyed the calm while Tetia was busy talking to Olruggio when the teen in question suddenly turned to Agott. “By the way, Agott, where did your hoodie go?”

Agott woke up the next day groggy; her hand reached for her glasses only to find them blurred. Odd, ’ she thought as she dragged herself out of bed. She reached for her clothes and grunted as she put her sweatshirt on. ‘Did I outgrow my clothes?’ She turned around to the mirror and found herself much more physically fit than before. ‘When did I become this muscular?!’

Agott sighed and reached for another hoodie. As she slipped it on, she stopped as the fabric stuck to her hand. ‘What the…’ Her free hand touched the wall, and soon she was stuck there too. She started stumbling as she tried to pull herself free.

“Agott?” Olruggio called out from outside the door. “You alright there? Did summat happen?”

The Arklaum teen grunted, tugging on the wall with all her might. “Yes, Uncle Olly, I’m alright, no need to worry!”

She could hear her uncle’s audible sigh, then the sounds of his steps fading away. “See, Qifrey? The lass is alright.”

“I just can’t help it, Olly, I’m worried she hasn’t been adjusting well.”

“She’s been ‘ere since summer two years ago; she’s been settlin’ in alright.”

Once out of earshot, Agott went straight back into pulling her hand free, placing her foot on the wall only to get that stuck as well; she groaned. ‘Stop sticking!’ True to her words, the wall’s paint job tore off, making the raven-haired teen fall out of the window; she would’ve fallen through if not for her feet sticking to the wall. She yelped, “Keep sticking, Agott!” as she flailed around, her hand sticking onto the bricks.

Bricks crumbled into fine powder when Agott gripped onto them for support. She stumbled around, her feet sticking firmly into the bricks as she walked across the apartment building.

Down below, a little boy points at the figure of the Arklaum teen scaling the apartment. “Mommy, look at the person walking up the side of a building!”

The boy’s mom sighed and tugged him away. “That’s the last horror movie I take you to, young man!”

‘This is just puberty!’ Agott thought, scrambling for the roof. ‘Why is my voice so loud?!’

While she raced against the roof, the hairs on the back of her neck stood up, tingles wracking through her body as she turned around and met a pigeon to her face. Her hand stuck out to another that pecked at her, feet starting to move on instinct.

The bird continued to fly, dragging Agott along with them while she slammed into a window, then another window, then the bricks before finally ripping free of the birds. “Sorry.” She called out, looking at the feathers that stuck to her hands. She groaned while slowly climbing to the top of the building. “Dummy Agott! You ruined a bird’s plume for the winter!”

She heaved herself up onto the roof, freeing her hands from whatever surface they had stuck to. She breathed the air only to start hearing the birds, the buzz of a nearby fly, or how the honking of cars seemed to sound louder despite being stars know how many meters up. Agott cried out at the sensations, covering her ears as she went fetal on the ground.

Her hand shot out for the nearby metal railings to steady herself up, only for the metal to crush within her grip. Agott let go in that instant as she stumbled back.

The Arklaum teen breathed heavily, her hands trying to shake off the remnants of those feathers. “What is happening to me?” She looked down and glanced at the red, inflamed area of her hand. “It’s that spider, wasn’t it?” The tingles wracked her body once more, ears ringing as though by instinct, she pulled the hood of her purple and black hoodie up.

The door burst open; the apartment’s security guard burst through. “Hey, you!” He barked. going straight towards Agott. “This area is off limits!”

The goosebumps in Agott’s body rose up as she stepped away from him, she surged back, her arm and hand jerking out a black web-like substance from her wrists, pulling her away from the guard as she swung from the building. Agott screamed bloody murder as onlookers stopped to watch, others pulling up their phones to record the unusual sight. The raven-haired teen attempted to repeat the same actions she did on her free arm, black webs shooting out of her wrist while she swung from building to building in between screams.

Coco hummed as she glanced between the two skirts in her hands, one a green skirt and the other a seafoam green one, comparing them to the purple hoodie that was generously donated to her the day before.

“Coco?” Her mother called out. “You’re going to be late to your hangout!”

“It’s not for another hour, mom, don’t worry!” Coco called back, placing the seafoam green skirt down in favour for the green one.

Her phone buzzed while she was getting ready, her hand quickly grabbing it to check what kind of conversation her friends were at now, perhaps it was Tetia and Richeh talking about that incident during english class again, or them getting ready. She checked the notification with a long breath.

I can’t find agott smh, she prolly locked herself in her room again jgjdmgsjgds

Coco’s free hand reached for her back for bag, digging through to find her hairclips.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!”

A blur of purple and black swung by her window at fast speeds, flailing around like a newborn stag.

The green-haired girl snapped her head towards the window from the sound. Her gaze lingered on it for a minute or two before going back to her bag.

She continued to swing through the buildings, leaving a trail of black webbing behind. The air breezed past Agott, her hood struggling to keep itself on her head until she crashed straight into a sign, falling into a nearby alleyway and crash landing on a parked car. The teen bounced off it and onto the ground.

She grimaced, lifting herself off the ground with a long, pained noise. Agott could feel blood trickle down from her nose, her hand moving to wipe it off as she stumbled out of the alleyway. She kept the hood on while she was on the way back, digging into her pockets for any pocket change and finding nothing, not even her phone.

“I’m in a spot of trouble here.” Agott mumbled, looking around for a solution when she turned her gaze to a nearby building.

“Alright, how did we do this?” Agott huffed as she paced around the roof. Her steps led towards the ledge of the building’s roof, her gaze was down on the ground before looking up at the rows of buildings before her.

She stared at her arms and began jerking them forward, her hands making poses. Multiple attempts later, Agott stopped, she took a deep breath and flexed her wrist. Black webbing shot out of her wrist with a sharp thwip, her feet were off the ledge as she took to the air. “Woah!” She exclaimed, the wind smacking her face at intense speeds.

She gripped onto the web until she overshot her swing, Agott yelped as the lack of acceleration pulled her back, her free hand quickly flexing her wrist to release the next string of web. She released her grip, flicking her wrist for another swing, then another string of web, the thwip, sound her webs make.

Billboards and neon signs blurred past Agott, windows flickered as she swung to another building.

As she reached over the open road, a flock of birds manage to intercept her path, causing the teen to fall, the wind welcoming them while Agott let out a grunt, a web shooting the closest building out of panic as she erractically wildly through the air.

“Focus!” She yelled to herself swinging through 5th avenue, then through 6th.

Just by the block she pulled her body weight to swing to the left, letting go of her webs to swing against another building, the weightless feel as she reached the peak of her arc until gravity took hold once more.

Her apartment building was just in view through the next turn, her webs thwip’d through the air. She snapped her wrist towards the nearest alley just beside the apartment, trying to use the web to bring herself to the ground with as much grace as possible.

Instead, her feet dragged against the ground until she crashed into a pile of boxes.

Agott slowly climbed up and into her room, collapsing onto the floor with a long, exhausted breath.

“Agott?” Tetia called out, making the Arklaum teen scramble to get up. “Do you plan on studying today?”

“If you aren’t, do you wanna come with me and the girls to the arcade…” She opened the door and found Agott standing in the room, disheveled, hood up, and nose bleeding and paused.

Before Tetia could do anything, the raven-haired teen held out her hands to stop her. “Don’t tell your fathers!” She breathed out, her hands gesturing for Tetia to calm down.

“Don’t tell them?— Agott you’re bleeding!” She shot back, pointing at the mess she was in.

Agott shook her head as she continued her futile attempts to calm Tetia down. “I just hit my face on the closet door, it’s fine.” She caught the conflicted look Tetia had on her face. the Arklaum teen clenched her fists and brought it down. “I swear to you, I’m alright, just please don’t tell them.”

“Agott…” Tetia sighed, looking at her then out of the hall before walking into Agott’s room, and closing the door behind her. “Sit down.” She gestured to the bed.

She nodded, shuffling towards the bed and taking a seat on the edge of it as Tetia went off to get a towel, damping it in her bathroom.

When the pink-haired girl returned she pulled off Agott’s hood, taking a seat on her desk chair and pressing the damp towel to her bleeding nose. “Gudfader, Agott.” She murmured, checking the raven-haired’s nose as more blood trickles down. “You worry me as much as papa does.”

Agott’s hands clasped onto eachother while her face is attacked by a damp cloth. “What does that, exactly mean?”

“It means that you both act too self-destructive for your own good.” She huffed as she continued to dab Agott’s face from the blood. “You need to take care of yourself, Agott.” She paused and checked for more blood. “We can only look after you for so long.”

The Arklaum teen looked away while Tetia continued to carefully dab the blood away from her face.

After a minute, the pink-haired teen pulled the cloth back. “I think you should be okay now.”

“Thank you.” Agott nodded as the two fell in a long silence in the room. She sighed gently rubbing her clasped hands together. “I can go with you to the arcade. I’m sure Uncle Qifrey and Uncle Olly would want that.”

Tetia smiled at Agott and stood up from her chair. “Okay then,” The door creaked open as Tetia stepped out. “You should clean up, wouldn’t wanna look like a mess infront of Coco would we?”

“Tetia.” Agott grumbled as the door gently clicked shut.

“You’re terrible at this.” Coco mused as she watched Agott fail to shoot another hoop. The sound of the ball making a crash, onto the metal hoop.

“Do you want me to take back that brushbuddy plush I won you?” Agott could only side-eye Coco as the time wrapped up for that rigged basketball game.

The green-haired teen quirked an eyebrow back at Agott. “You wouldn’t dare.”

“I would.” The Arklaum teen shot back, her hands checking how many tokens she has left in her pockets. “We should probably find Tetia and Richeh.” Agott glanced around the arcade. “Where are those two, anyway?”

“Probably by that mini bowling alley that they have.” Coco leaned to the side, finding the bowling alley and two girls with brightly colored hair. “See, there they are!”

The pair slowly walked up to the two, Tetia was the one focused on bowling while Richeh seemed to be sitting on the side, her blue eyes fixed to her phone. Without hesitation, Coco went straight to Tetia, chatting with her while she watched her bowl.

“Have you guys seen the news?” Richeh spoke, making the other three girls turn to her in varying levels of curiosity.

“Why?” Tetia asked, placing the bowling ball down. “What’s on it?”

Richeh held her phone out for them to watch. It was a video of a person in a black and purple blur swinging through the city, above was the caption:

Videos of a mysterious figure swinging through New Ezrest city have started to circulate online. No official footage has surfaced as of recent sighting reports.

“Probably just AI.” Tetia hummed, her hand tapping against her chin. “Though it looks quite believeable.”

“Maybe it is real.” Coco shrugged, making her pink-haired friend to look at her.

“Coco… I thought we all knew to not trust videos on the internet these days!”

The conversation was blocked out for Agott, the words of her friends were nothing but muffled as the hairs at the back of her neck stood up. ‘Oh no.’
