    It’s 1998 and pop music is back on the rise. Seeing a golden opportunity, Super Shady Businessman Roger Crowell, starts churning out boybands at his Florida residence dubbed The Compound. Two of those boybands, The Game Changers (TGC) and Heated Revelry, are about to shoot to stardom at a dizzying pace. From concert specials to record-breaking album sales to positions on TRL, they will be in constant competition for the #1 spot. Shane Hollander is TGC’s classic shy guy: he keeps to himself but puts in the work. Ilya Rozanov is Heated Revelry’s resident bad boy: always a little too curious and more than willing to cause a bit of trouble. Their bands are supposed to be heated rivals, but any time they are in each other’s orbit, they are drawn together by an unexplainable force. The only question is what will they do about it?
