   Summary

   Ryland Grace is fresh off a career change, living in San Francisco, surviving while getting his teaching credential and working nights as a sound guy.

   Simon Fischer has recently gone from an engineer with a college degree to a full-fledged rockstar as his band, Eden, has taken off.

   When Simon meets Grace at Eden's stop in San Francisco, and they exchange only a small interaction, both of them can't stop thinking about the other for years. It's only until Simon is making his own music that they are reunited, and Grace realizes that the reserved bassist has been thinking about him just as much. Enough to write a whole album.
