Summary
They meet by Historia's fist cracking across Ymir's nose, breaking it. Ymir is delighted. As a result, Historia loses her job and her last chance at independence. Desperate, she goes back to her old lover and boss, Yelena, a notorious crime lord. For Yelena, her fists had been for the pit and she'd been a champion. But returning to Yelena is accepting a collar around her throat, and Historia doesn't know if she can handle that a second time.
Ymir has never been taken by surprise before, least of all by such a small, cute looking woman. She thinks she'll never see Historia again, until they cross paths at the Pit, and Ymir realizes Historia is far more interesting than she initially assumed. Desperate herself, she gives Historia an offer. Stay with a psycho crime lord, or be her personal guard. She's small and beautiful, the perfect person to stop those pesky assassins. If they do a little fake dating on the side, who is Ymir to complain?
