"You've got some soft hair." Chance remarks, a sheepish grin on his face. "I mean, it looks way better when its clean, but still. I like soft hair."
I grin darkly. "You mean when its not covered in my own blood?"
Chance's hand slides under my chin, tilting my face up to face his. Shocked by this sudden touch, my face burns.
"W-wh what are you doing?' I stammer. Chance says nothing for a moment. I could practically feel the heat radiating off his body.
"You're funny. Even when you're suffering from a head injury." Chance finally responds, his 1 million-TIX smile revealing rows of perfectly straight, white teeth.
"Pupil reflexes seem to be fine," He adds, "...Although they look a little dilated. You did say you hit your head on something, right?"
"Y-yeah..." I stammer. Words were a little difficult for some reason. I was still shaking- from shock or something else, I wasn't sure at this point.
