Speedrunning Relationships With Thomas5200
In the hallowed halls of State High School, there is one student who has done it all.
Thomas5200
He’s a smart guy, a funny guy, a real Jack of all trades.
But there’s one thing he’s unfamiliar with.
𝓛𝓸𝓿𝓮
And with prom coming up and feeling like the only one without a date, he was kind of panicking.
Why was it important? Well, prom was in 5 days, and so was his presumed last day at State High.
See, Thomas and the rest of his little clique had been suspected of “gang behavior” and accused of sabotaging several school events. In 5 days he was going to be expelled. He just knew it.
It was only a matter of time before he lost everything, and if he was going to lose it all, he wanted to be happy before it happened.
He wanted love.
But it felt like the only thing he couldn't have.

Thomas almost threw his phone at the wall. Ish, why were his friends so stupid?
Most if not all of them had been in relationships so WHY couldn't they spare him even a sliver of advice?
Sure, Snowbird had actually tried helping (sorta) but Thomas wasn’t in any clubs.
What could he even join? He was good at a ton of things but there wasn’t really anything that interested him.
5 days until prom.
5 days to get his shit together.
5 days was not enough.
His alarm went off. It only served as an annoyance because he was already awake. But he did take it as a sign to get ready for school.
Whilst changing into his signature purple-collared shirt, yellow bandana, and black slacks outfit he pondered how he could get a date.
He didn’t talk to many people outside of the Conspiracy, though he could probably make friends pretty easily. It wasn’t that hard, right?
He was about to find out because his bike ride flew by and he was standing in front of the giant school that he just so happened to attend.
Welp, here goes nothing.
He scanned the crowd around him, half-awake students all just trying to get to class on time. Some slowly walking and trying too hard to be cool, some friend groups chatting excitedly and tripping over each other's feet, very few composed walking at a comfortable pace, and many full on sprinting to shove things into their lockers and rush to class to somehow be late.
He started to approach one of the slower ones casually. A boy with short, bouncy white hair, pitch black hollow irises, white eyelashes, unique moles below his eyes, wearing an unkempt purple hoodie, and black sweats.
So Thomas walked right behind, opened his mouth, and-
“Hey, move over so I can get past.” Said Thomas5200 snobbishly. The person in front of him glanced at him, frowned, then stepped to the side.
Getting further and further away from him, Thomas had one thing on his mind.
FUCKOHMYISHWHYTHEFUCKDIDYOUSAYTHATTHOMASYOUABSOLUTEFUCKIMGFAILUREAHHAHSHAHSHDHNWJSUUDJSIASJDIEDIEDIE
So maybe he wasn’t able to talk to one guy, no big deal. And maybe he was a little rude, it’s fine. Not like he’ll see him again-
They sit next to each other.
They’ve been sitting next to each other and Thomas’s first words to him were “move over so I can get past”. So much for a happy last 5 days.
Before he could mentally spiral further, the Conspiracy entered the class. They spotted Thomas and walked over to him.
“Hey, Thomas!” NewKids shouted, waving like he hadn’t seen the guy in ages.
“Yo.” Fluixon smiled, tilting his head to the side.
“Hey guys.” Thomas matched his friend’s smiles. Thank Ish they were here.
“Sooo about your texts.” Rotation spoke up. Suddenly Thomas was thinking that he would’ve been fine without them.
“Let’s talk at lunch.” He cut off his friend. Class was starting soon and he did NOT want the guy sitting next to him to know his business. Thomas didn’t know what kind of dude he was, and blackmail is weirdly common in this school.
Damn, this place sucks.
The door opened and the group dispersed. All getting to their seats in record time.
In walked Schpood? What the fuck? Schpood was a student! He wasn’t even in this class! Why was he here??
“Err, good morning everybody. If you read the school paper you’d know that high-ranking members of the student council can sub in for teachers when they are absent.” He explained, then he looked down at his clipboard. “Today’s lesson is on the physics of an infinite water pool.”
Thomas knew he didn’t have to pay attention in this class. There were hardly any tests and the homework was easy as hell. So he decided to take a nap.
【~5200~】
Bad fucking idea.
He missed the bell and his loser friends had left him.
Wait, then who woke him up-
“Uhh, dude, you good?” OH OF COURSE IT HAD TO BE HIM
This guy is just everywhere isn't he.
Thomas got up quickly, nearly knocking his chair over.
“I’m fine.” Thomas shouted, grabbing his stuff and bolting. He’d never been this flustered. Then again he’d never had this kind of interaction before.
If his stupid anxiety hadn’t kept him up then he wouldn’t be in this situation. Staying up in any capacity always fucked up his whole personality without fail.
He’d gotten to class right before the teacher sat down once they’d started speaking.

Suddenly he was at his lunch table stress-eating while his friends bombarded him with questions.
“Thomas. Explain your texts now!” NewKids slammed his hands on the table, making a few people look up. However no meaningful attention lingered.
“Yeah, why were you talking about prom?” Fluixon asked, genuinely confused. “I thought you hated all that lovey-dovey stuff.”
“He probably hates it because he’s bad at it.” Seraphim rolled her eyes, eating grapes like a pampered princess, and throwing her leftovers at NewKids, who would catch them in his mouth easily.
Despite the fact she was right, Thomas was extremely offended.
“Well, explain your messages.” Snowbird took another bite of his sandwich, only half paying attention to the conversation.
“I just want a date for prom, is that such a big deal?” Thomas crossed his arms. He had no food left to eat but he was still starving. Well, not exactly. He just felt like he should be eating because it helped him calm down.
“It’s only a big deal because it’s not like you.” Seraphim put her empty Tupperware back into her lunchbox. “Plus, you can’t stand it when I’m all cutesy with Jophiel.”
“Yeah, and what’s the deal with Micro?” Gotoga asked, eating the flowers that were in his bag instead of the actual food.
“Who’s Micro?” Thomas asked, now more confused than defensive.
“The guy you sit next to.” Snowbird rolled his eyes, saying his statement like it was common knowledge.
“Oh so that’s his name.” Thomas mumbled. “Uhh I’m kinda ignoring him.”
The whole table went silent.
“Uhh, why?” NewKids asked, all puppy dog eyed like he was expecting Thomas to not answer. (he was right)
“Uuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm”
The bell blared through the lunchroom and everybody instantly dropped the subject and gathered their stuff to get to the last class of the day.
For some reason Schpood was also teaching his class, which made it very easy for Thomas to zone out and mentally skip the whole lesson.
【~5200~】
When the final bell ran and students rushed out of class to get home Thomas had nearly forgotten about the interaction with Micro.
Then the guy crashed into him in the hallway.
Both of them dropped a ton of their stuff and that feeling of serenity that had washed over Thomas had been sucked up by a white-haired, purple-hoodied sponge.
“Ish, dammnit!! Why is it always you?!” Thomas angrily murmured to himself. “Quit following me, would you!?”
Micro scrambled to gather his stuff. “I’m not following you!” He insisted, passing Thomas some of his books that had fallen from his bag. (That’s kinda on Thomas for having his bag open tho)
He smacked Micro’s hand and grabbed his books then shoved them into his bag.
“I’m really sorry!” Micro got up, holding his materials close to his chest. “How can I make it up to you?”
Thomas wasn’t the guy to let things go, especially when it felt like this guy was actively trying to get revenge on him for one rude comment.
“I-I could buy you lunch, or,” Micro started stammering out offers of things he could do for Thomas to make him feel better.
Then Thomas had an idea.
“uhh, I could get you a homework pass or-“
“Go to prom with me.”
