CHAPTER ONE: 'the beginning'
It was a warm summer day in de middle of august, nothing out of the ordinary. The wind was softly gushing against the trees.The air smelled fresh, with a soft scent of cakes from the bakery next door.
Miyu was walking alone from school, as always. She wasn't popular.. heck, half her class didn't even know her name.
She brushed it off like it didn't bother her.
But the dreadful feeling intensified as she walked past a group of girls from her class. She put her head down, trying hard not to be recognized.
The girls laughed at the sight of it. Finding it hilarious.
While walking Miyu takes a moment to look at the water, it was beautiful. The way the water glistened in the sun, with the singing of the birds nearby. It was truly a beautiful sight. but as she was about to cross a nearby bridge, she heard something:
"SPLASH!''
Miyu whipped her head around to see what had landed in the water.
To her horror, it was a cat. Gasping in shock, she quickly ran to the side of the river to get a better look. The poor thing was drowning! Splashing the water around violently in an attempt to stay above the water.
''shit, shit, shit! W-what do i do--!?''
Miyu said, as she was shaking her hands around, trying to come up with a solution.
She knew she didn't have much time. So, without a second thought, she threw the backpack off her shoulders and jumped into the water.
Lucky for her, the cat wasn’t far away from her, only a few meters or so.
After a while, Miyu had safely returned to land, clasping the cat with her arms.
While she was gasping for air, Miyu noticed that the cat has almost grown...heavier?
No, that coudn't be it, right?
But she was right, the cat was heavier than before.
In fact, it almost didn't feel like a cat anymore.
Miyu slowly looked down to the 'cat' that was laying in her lap.
And to her surprise, it was a... a
Human?
''What?'' Miyu thought to herself.
''no. That can't be right, why..HUH?'' it was most definitely a human.
She jolts back in horror, and slight fear.
The well..'thing' hits it head on the ground and groans from the impact as it falls out of her lap.
''Holy sh#t the thing can speak'' Miyu thought as she carefully inspects the 'human' from a distance.
about a minute later, the 'human' opens its eyes. Miyu isn't going to let this strange phenomenon slide. Before it can fully recover, Miyu bombards it with questions.
''what are you!? who are you, WHY DID YOU FALL FROM THE SKY?! WHY WHERE YOU A CAT?! AH- WH--''
''shut up''
''w..what''? Before Miyu could even ask the last question, the 'human' replied with a seemingly annoyed expression.
''i said. shut. up.'' the *alien* said ((wink wink)) ''..sigh..i'm Hoshi. nice, to meet you i suppose.'' Hoshi said reluctantly.
''Hoshi..like, star?''
Hoshi looked suprised. ''Ah i was wondering what you guys called it here in Japan.''
